I received a set of Ford Rock Rails for my friend for my new bass bronco four-door. However it didn’t come with brackets.

Is this the right brackets to purchase?

Well they don't look like the brackets when I pulled my rock rail. That doesn't mean they won't work.... Just they're not the same as factory. I'd be a little leary paying $150 for something that may not work. If I have time/remember later I'll snap some photos since mine is still sitting in the garage

No sir. You need to find the OEM brackets from Ford. Those are from an aftermarket company. Like @BlueOvalBandit they might work, but I wouldn't skimp.

I called Ford and they told me that they don't sell only the brackets. So, I started looking for a set of aftermarket parts. Is this bad information?

Thank you! Ford told me they don't sell just the brackets.

Hope you got a deal on the rails as they knew you’d need the brackets too.

Here’s what they look like on the 2 door.

Yes, you can buy just the brackets from Ford. The OEM rock rails I bought didn't come with brackets either, they are around $38 each.

OEM bracket part numbers are M2DZ-54200B38-A and M2DZ-54200B39-A, you need 2 of each.

I've seen rock rails from everywhere from free to $600. If you can find some cheap enough with the brackets it might be cheaper than getting from Ford. Also why would someone get rid of the rails without the brackets?

I got them for Free since the person used the brackets to install steps that didn't come with brackets.

I guess maybe the steps use the same brackets? Interesting.
