I followed these last fall. None sold and prices kept dropping. They def didn’t hold any extra real value.

I had one on order originally and dealer sold it out from under me. I found one in December w 8k miles. Looked like it just rolled out of the dealer. Got the navy interior (Karen, lol) once I saw it in person…better than boring black imo. If they would at least have put more gray and silver in the black interior, I would have considered it. Even the passenger dash insert is black.

Anyway, got mine for 70. Totally intended to lose money on it, driven it over 2k miles so far, no regrets and loving it. The lightning blue is about my favorite exterior color on any vehicle I’ve ever had.

The Boring Black is their Scarlett Letter of dishonor that identifies those who felt so entitled to whine that Ford capitulated. Remember their outrage was based off renders and no one had a legitimate complaint based on actual photos.

No that interior was hideous to many even in person and clashed with almost every exterior color offered on the fe. If they'd done a better job matching the interior to the exterior options, people would not have complained. They should've had options to start with and eventually they did.

Yah I hated the renders. In person made me do a 180. When I bought, it was between the one I got and a black interior, fewer miles, but a few k more. Went back and forth and decided I’m getting it to drive and use, so get the interior I liked better, which was navy pier. Out of 4 autos I own, only one has a black interior (only option at the time). That one’s being traded in for a black and red interior soon enough.
