Don’t these auctions also require a 10-12% Buyers Fee? If so, the actual cost for the buyer is closer to $73K. Yes, the seller still didn’t make any profit but the actual ā€˜value’ still seems to be in that low-mid $70K for a FE.

$66,000 includes the buyers fee, so that's final price, click on the original link I posted.

Yep a two door will always bring more $$
Only took 5 posts. Can someone check if this is a new world record on here?

Ooof…that makes it even worse; about $60K before fees. I’d like to think this is more of an isolated incident of bad timing/audience than actual values. Good think I’m not planning on buying/selling anytime soon :)

LOL! This might be one of the very few arguments where a guy feels superior when he has LESS of something!

I think the eventual message is a 2dr First Ed. in Lightning Blue will fetch the most $$$.
(not sure I agree...maybe in a bunch of years)

Honorable mention/runner up for Antimatter Black Broncos? I don't think AMB could be had on a FE though.

I thought , as was mentioned, AMB was actually rarer than Lightning, but I feel like I've seen a ton of 2dr Base Broncos in AMB on this site.

2dr LB but also 2dr AMB is actually more rare.
A 2dr AMB FE would be rare as it was not an option for FEs. Rapid Red, Cyber Orange, A51, Cactus Gray were the choices besides the exclusive Lightning Blue.

Genuinely curious what is "the Karen interior"?
FE reservation holders cried foul when they never actually seen photos of the Luna/Navy Pier interior. The based their entitled outrage off the Rockstar's renders. Ford capitulated to the whining entitled reservation holders and offered the black Karen interior. Now, they can wear their Scarlett Letter forever identifying them as one of the whining, entitled masses.

There was a lightning blue FE for sale on a dealer lot near me recently for $64,000.

This is to be expected as is how supply and demand works. Yes it's a FE but to me it doesn't offer anything more than my basesquatch......

Wrong venue for this Bronco. There were a dozen or so nicely restored/upgraded Gen 1&2 Broncos that brought better numbers. People go to Barrett Jackson to purchase vehicles that are rare and collectible versus one that is current. Hint: if you want to buy a really nice, low mileage luxury car at an incredibly low price, go to the auction the first day. Deals are plentiful.

There were lots of Gen 6 broncos going for big money there though. That's why I think it's supply and demand now. They aren't special enough now. I suppose the people buying them just wanted their's sooner than they could get through layman's channels.....

As many have said on here, the Bronco is not a special or rare vehicle, even the FE. If the FEs had some sort of major difference, like a V8, or power top, or something that truly set it apart it might be worth something major, but otherwise its just another Bronco. And the novelty has worn off, I'm seeing several Broncos a day now whereas a year ago it was a real treat to see one. In 20-30 years, our Broncos might be worth some money if well kept ;)

Everyone is forgetting there is a 30% price premium at those auctions. Due to alcohol consumption.

I'm not kidding.
