You should make mic gray and mic black two different choices, right?

It’s also missing the black painted option

I think the OP was going for realistic options here, which means:

1) MIC gray top
2) Painted black top
3) Body color top
4) Painted white top

I agree the "black or gray" should be separated to be more accurate.

If we get a white top option I really hope it's MiC and not painted.

I wonder if there’s a correlation between hardtop color preferences and age group. I know a lot of people are going for a retro build, and I’m curious how that shakes out.

Are there other retro design elements you’d like to see available? Wheels? I wouldn’t mind getting some 80s style vinyl graphics on the sides!
The only correlation I'm seeing is that we're mostly old on this forum...

I don’t understand the white top fanaticism either but to each their own, may be a nostalgia thing. I’m in the under 30 class and will be going with whatever the MIC option is because A) it saves money and B) I just don’t really care about the color of my top that much. *****Although Ford if you’re reading this please make the MIC top black*****

I have a feeling that in the year or so after these start getting delivered the classifieds of this site will be full of guys wanting to trade tops. “Thought I wanted white but I hate it” + “didn’t order white but now I want it” etc.

I guess this will show I am on the slightly younger side as I just don't get the infatuation with the white top.

Body color to me will look the cleanest, then black, then grey
I'm over 50 and I agree. So maybe not an age thing, maybe just aesthetic preference?

The perfect poll would include an infinite (and overwhelming) number of choices to capture every possible combination, but this imperfect poll is capturing exactly what I hoped for. Thanks to everyone who is participating!

I'm not choosing a white top for retro or nostalgic reasons, I'm choosing the white top because with Cactus Grey, it's o_O! I like that combination so much that if white isn't an option with Cactus Grey on an Outer Banks, I may decide to wait and see if Ford changes it's mind on 2022 models.

Some of us old farts are staying current. Want the tech and left the 21-40 demographic long ago.

I chose body color, but I'm ordering black, so could have selected 2 choices.

That is the most surprising color combination to me. I understand the appeal of a black or gray top, since it provides a nice contrast with certain body colors, but I would prefer a body colored top for my Bronco.

Cactus gray and white are close to each other in luminance that a quick glance registers as “same color,” yet different enough that I find the pairing very jarring.
