Looks amazing. 2.7L dropping soon? With the high mount, concerns on long road trips or long trails limiting air across the radiator or would the low mount be better for those ues?
2.7 is live, check links, I just (pre)ordered

Hey @Razorback - You bet! We are still finalizing the 2.7L intercooler pipe product. Once that is ready for pre-sale (mid-April 2023), we will also have a 2.7L specific, complete kit.

I would more-so consider what other products you have on the front of your Bronco. This high-mount is more suited for people running winches, lights, and other aftermarket products in front of the stock location intercooler. Adding a high-mount intercooler is adding another product in the cooling stack, so it could slightly increase coolant temperatures when driving in hot climates. If you don't have anything in front of the stock location intercooler, our Stock Location intercooler might be a better choice.

Not to be critical, but quick back of the napkin math for a 2.7L comes to $149 per HP gain and $117 per lb-ft. Return on investment does not appear to be advantageous. The air-flow increase and temp. reduction is very good, but $1,200 is a lot to spend for minimal performance improvement. Am I missing something?

Longevity and protection, plus those are stock gains, you’d probably yield better gains with a tune

Longevity and protection, possibly. The tune will run $800-$,1000 and will definitely wake it up. But now you're talking a couple thousand dollars for what I view as moderate HP/torque gain.

Again, I'm not negating the benefits of the product. From a pure cost/benefit analysis, it doesn't work for me.

Of course, that makes sense, and Id be in the same boat if I didnt see it as preventive maintenance with gains secondary.

Curious to see what itd make with a tune as well

Today is the day many of you have been waiting for... PRE-SALE ANNOUNCEMENT!

When will my order ship?
We have a limited number of these in stock to ship immediately. First come, first serve. If you are not in the first round, the second round is anticipated to ship in May/June 2023.

How long will the pre-sale pricing last?
Pre-sale pricing will last for four weeks and end on 4/25/2023.

What if I get an automated email about my product being on backorder?
Yes, this is a systems limitation on our side and you might receive more than one backorder email. Sorry it's such a pain, but remember you are ordering a product before we have 100% of the items ready to be shipped.

We wanted to get this pre-sale page out sooner rather than later and we are still finalizing some of our content. I will be sure to update everyone when it's live.

We have two options for Bronco owners with 2.3L EcoBoost engines:

*There are four color options/combinations for this kit. Not all have been shown below. Check the product page for more images.

@Mishimoto

I'm m confused, was @Razorback asking about 2.7 _down pipes_ or the 2.7 high mount kit? Or what are you referring to in the portion i quoted here?

Didn't I just (fingers-crossed-for-first-run) pre-order the 2.7L high mount kit?

Hey Guys!

Nick here again with some VERY exciting news that we wanted to share! We didn't waste any time digging into our Bronco and are already well underway into our performance intercooler development! Make sure that you head over to our engineering blog for the full scoop!

HIGH ROAD – 2021+ FORD BRONCO 2.3L/2.7L PERFORMANCE INTERCOOLER R&D, PART 1 – STOCK REVIEW AND DESIGN PLANS

Make sure that you head to the engineering blog to get a peek at what we have planned for the Bronco's intercooling system! As always, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions that you might have

-Nick
Nick, we are excited about the inter cooler but have you looked into a cooler for our 10 speed.. It would need to have a thermostat, because this 10 likes to run around 200 with max at 220. Thermostat should open about 205 I would guess to keep transmission from going to close to the 220..
I understand also there is higher pressures in this 10 speed so it might be a challenge to pull out fluid to cool ( or filter for that matter)..
thank you for your work 👍🏼🇺🇸🚗

Hey @CarGuy - The primary purpose behind your intercooler + pipes is to balance flow and cooling efficiency. Maintaining low charge air temperatures with minimal pressure loss is what will help you maintain power in a longer drive duration. I would consider the power (HP + TQ) icing on the cake with intercoolers and pipes. Like @Lèòn mentioned, it's possible someone could extract even more power with our product installed (that's not our core, though, we make hard parts).

If you don't intend on running other aftermarket products in front of the stock-location intercooler, the better bang for the buck (HP/TQ to $) would be our Stock Location Intercooler (product page link here).

If you ordered the MMINT-BR-21H, that fits both 2.3L and 2.7L EcoBoost Broncos. We are still finalizing our 2.7L EcoBoost specific kit, which includes the high-mount and 2.7L piping kit. I hope I'm not sharing this picture too soon and excuse my MS Paint skills. This should clarify what will come with the upcoming 2.7L full kit.

When this below kit pre-sale goes live, you will have the ability to order just the piping, specifically for the 2.7L + Mishimoto high-mount. The system is modular, so you can upgrade over time.

Hey @Dorf2point0 - Thanks for the positive feedback on the intercooler! We have completed some prelim discussions around the 10 speed transmission cooler. Being a liquid-to-liquid cooler, it's a more tricky configuration than most normal air-to-liquid transmission coolers. I'm happy to take your request and target transmission temps to our Engineering Team to see what they might have up their sleeves.

Hey @Lèòn - We are in the process of getting written install guides on each respective product page. The PDF file sizes are too large to upload here. I will give you a heads up when they are online.
