I confirmed the allocation, however did not have to put down a deposit. How many others had to put something down?

I put down a $1k deposit which is refundable (per dealer) and/or placed towards the car. So if it’s not built for FY23 it’ll be placed towards FY24.

However I was placed in their first few allocations — they’re the dealership most people here have purchased from.

Gave my final build sheet to the dealer on March 23rd for 2-door Wildtrak Lux Package that automatically came with cloth seats sandstone black. Dealer placed the order, received confirmation email from Ford yesterday. However, the price went up $2,195 for leather/trim vinyl sandstone black. Cloth seats are now not an option for the LUX package. Has anyone else come across this price increase on their order ?

Cloth is not an option on the Wildtrak at all anymore. It is not caused by LUX package.

For those that had orders submitted today (3/27/23), did your dealer give you an approximate ETA? My dealer could not give me an approximate ETA. Sounds like it could take upwards of a year or more. Yikes! I thought the supply chain issues have been resolved.

Please tell me that this is not a serious post....

Should mean you will see your Heritage get scheduled soon, but what do I know. Others more in the know should be able to confirm.

I think a lot of people out in the world have given up. I gave my name to the dealer in the summer and there was hardly anybody behind me. Even though i am on here every week or so i might have missed the window if i randomly hadnt overheard a guy talking about it and answered a call marked as spam from my dealer.

New vehicle manager made me change my order to a 4 door today due to us having 12 2 doors in with only 6 allocated. Changed it to a white 4 door but may change color later lol. I have a 23 2 door Eruption Green Badlands I'll be trading.

If the order is built and delivered, could you walk away if dealership adds market adjustment (mark-ups)? I emailed to the dealership my DL and wish list but asked what would happen if I decided not to buy. He said I am obligated to buy and that they already submitted without me having to sign anything. They just used my email address. When I checked my email, I got the confirmation already that quick.

No, you are not obligated to buy and can walk away if you choose too. But why not negotiate pricing terms now and get it in writing to avoid any surprise ADM's?

I was looking on the Ford website this morning and they’ve made some changes to it. On the website there’s a note under the base trim “not available for order check with your dealer” and the Everglades is completely gone now. There is also a note that the 7 speed is very limited, did anyone ordered a manual yesterday? I’m really hoping I can change mine to a manual in the third quarter.

I loaded it down exactly how my Wildtrak order got plugged in 530 days ago. I know my chances are slim but it is exactly how my wife wants it.
and of course I won't be in a big hurry because our eruption green bribe offer Badlands is built, modules downloaded, tear tag on since early last week and hopefully in route. Pizza tracker still shows in production.

So is Ford taking 2 door orders for the 3/27 orders? I got a confirmation that my 2 door order was placed yesterday but see on her people saying there was not a 2 door option this time? This is confusing.

Ford underestimated the popularity of the two door model.
There is a very high level of demand for two door models when compared to production capacity.
Production of two doors will be limited to 10% of the total produced for new orders, since the previously ordered two door had already filled out most of the limited remaining production capacity of two door models.
Some dealers, knowing that they will not get allocated enough two doors this year are not allowing customers to order those knowing they have reached their allocation quota level for MY2023.
Others are allowing customers to put in a new order for whatever the customer wants even if it exceeds their remaining quota of 2 doors for 2023 knowing that most of those will not be filled this year and will be pushed out to future model years.
