Stephens Auto is handling this by refunding the money that Ford sends, 30-60 days after the sale. So, all of the rebates, etc. are fine up (if you are in the system) until the February price increase of $2k for a 2 door. So, you pay the $2k increase and then receive a refund.

Disappointing news, to be sure, but totally expected with the way Ford has handled the price protection, private offers and everything else.

Other dealers may handle this differently.

Thanks for the info on how they are handling it. At least they are upfront and honest about it even though you lose the tax on the $1500 or $2000. Better than no refund at all. Hopefully I get mine worked out as well.

Do you know how Granger handled the MY2022 PP? Stephen's did the same for the MY2022 PP. Once Ford paid them, then they would cut the check to the customer.

Since the dealer is paying the $2k price on the invoice, I would say it would be similar for how they previously handled it.

Just be sure in addition to your Private Offer in Smart Vincent that you get the Retail Price Protection which covers the 2/10 increase. For your 2 door, it is an extra $2,000. Oh, and the $100 for the reservation too. They have been great so far but expect an issue with this. Better explanation of this program in the stickied PP thread or direct from Tim in this thread complete with the relevant documents.

Mine was at the NS Auto Distribution Location in DE Saturday morning so should arrive at the dealer any day. (different build week but same dealer) Took a week by train from MI to DE to give you a rough idea if you have your shipped date and eveything goes smoothly.

Has anyone been able to get their railcar number? Chat is telling me that information isn't in their system yet.

Have my tried, but I read a thread where folks have called the marketing number and been successful getting it.

In the past CS has told me they don’t give out the information anymore, but I’ll try them again tomorrow.

Must depend on who you talk to. The other day on Chat, I provided my VIN and had wondered if the Bronco had actually shipped and left the plant. They provided the info along with the railcar info even though I did not ask for that specifically.

That is not what you were saying. Both protections are not combined together on the certificate, exactly what I had told you and as described in the PP thread. It's all good. I just don;t want you to have bad info for when you have to deal with the dealer. Some are great, some not so, best to be prepared.

Last night, the email tracker was returning an error message. I took this as a good sign, as I figured they were doing an update.

I logged in this morning, and it was updated!!! I've flipped to "Built 03/07/2023" and I now have a tear tag!!!!

962 days later, this still doesn't seem real.

I've had "shipped" status on my tracker for a few days, but no source has been able to give me a railcar number. This morning I called customer service. They said the status is "In Transit" but it also has a note attached saying "Ready to leave MAP." The ETA hasn't changed, but apparently my Bronco is just sitting waiting for a ride. If Jim Farley is joy-riding my baby around southern Michigan, I'm going to be ticked.

So if this is accurate might see this in a week or so. Transportation is listed as a "convoy"

My delivery date just updated this morning to 3/7/2023-3/13/2023 as well (time machine?). So, we may be coming off the same convey truck headed to Stephens.
