For those who use them, how are you guys mounting your GMRS antenna and where?

I used the Midland Ghost antenna with the magnetic base and mounted it on the driver's side rear speaker mount. It's not completely vertical, so not ideal, but still works well.

I took a ditch light bracket drilled it for an NMO mount and mounted a Midland ghost antenna.

Same. I might move over to the passenger side though. It’s annoyingly in my field of view all the time!

How'd you run the wire inside the cabin?
I mounted my head unit behind the glove box using the Mountains2Metal mount, ran the cable behind the dash and out the grommet in the firewall that is above and behind the pedals.

I ran it under the Cowl and thru the grommet in the fire wall.

Already had ditch lights mounted using the JCR mount which has extra holes so I mounted my 6db whip antennae right there. Similar set up to @Arlo.Overland but i got rid of the Ghost antennae because it didn't work for a shit for me, the whip antennae is twice as strong, 6 v.s. 3 db.

I'm using the Trailrax TSAM on the driver's side trail site.

Installed my Midlands radio tonight. Have a Mountains2Metal cowl mount, but decided not to use it. Made my own bracket, installed it on a Hammerbuilt tailgate plate.

I had a spare bracket around, so mounted it under the cowl light and added the antenna. With the angle, the antenna is out of view behind the A pillar while you drive.
