So before our bronco had 1000km on it the plastic pillar in the back panel of the roof had warn through the paint. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue. The useless piece of foam that is glued on the pillar pulled away allowing the plastic to vibrate through the paint.

Yeah we took it in for warranty, they replaced the foam as you can see.

Yeah we took it in
Oh dang, that might be something to bring up with @Ford Motor Company

I have almost 15k miles (24k-ish km) and haven't had this issue
Well here we go again @Ford Motor Company we had our bronco painted and the new soft top update done and because they ripped our top we had the three side panels replaced yeah we have had a bit of luck getting this fixed now here we are not 3 months since it was fixed and it is now worse then ever. Oh did I mention the back doors paint is now wearing off what an engineering screwup this soft top is, my brand new $70000.00 bronco has paint issues I would love a response from ford on this one but like I have had so far I’ll get nothing but headaches.

I don't know man, $70,000 ... that kind of money changes things ... tends to amp up the stakes and expectations. Is it really that kind of 4x4?

Looks like you have HPR paint? I'd be reticent to have any large panel respray of that tri-coat in case there were issues. Probably would go the touch-up paint route, then add some foam or clear tape protection and call it a day.

Wait till you actually take the soft top off and you scratch the roll bar, the tub liner, the tail gate and every other thing that is painted because of all the sharp metal edges on the soft top. You won’t even notice that worn spot. 😉

Exactly, scratches from removing the soft top is going to happen. I've got a few but I'm not going to spend the money or the time to have them fixed when it'll just happen again.
