Installed IAG 4PC Interior LED Dome Light Kit with Harness

I installed mine last weekend too. They are extremely bright. My wife complained about the glare. I might look at some kind of softening filter for them. I have mine connected to the dome light circuit and Aux 6.

This is what I'm somewhat concerned with...being too bright. I'm going to plug them into Aux only to test the brightness before tying them into the Door Lighting.

I was thinking for the 2-dr and just have the rears installed. They look really bright and I don't want be blinded with a light on the peripheral of my eyes. I just wasn't sure if the harness was capable of having just 2 of the lights.

Yes, they will work with only two of the lights plugged in. I wired mine up to power first, and then ran the harness, plugging each up as I went along, and they worked 1 - 4. We don't find them too bright at all, its a normal amount of light for a auto interior. Pretty much matches the wifes F150 perfectly, that has LEDs in the same position above each seat.

Are the LED's replaceable with ones of a lower output? Do the lenses come off?

That’s a Traxxas 1/18 scale rc Bronco. It has the optional Area 51 body. We did the graphics last evening to match our actual 2022 bronco.
i‘m also doing a 1/10 scale bronco with lift kit, wheels and tires………. It’s a fun hobby. You can get them at most hobby shops

I installed the lights yesterday on my two door, and they are extremely bright. You'll be able to find anything you dropped on the cabin floor. Before the install, I looked at the possibility of removing the lenses to install a filter ( red) but they look like they could be hermetically sealed. I really needed the extra light in the back due to installing the Velox gullwings. I only had a couple of small minor gripes one being the blasted wire and getting a hold of it but that's a given the other was the whole harness had shielding except for the lights Pigtails. I'll install some shielding on those at a later date because of the pinch point where the wires route behind the airbag covers.
For the auxiliary wire switch, I'm thinking to Rob power from the fuse block because they're already there and install a toggle in the knee bolster area be it I already have a toggle there for a Rock Slides lockout.
All in all, great product quick and easy install

I don’t see why not. I never tried that but I’m sure it’s very doable.

I have the iag lights and tapped my cargo area light bar into the same circuit. Works great! Only thing it doesn’t do is slowly dim out like the Iag lights do

It’s honestly not that bad. I did it with the hardtop on and it only took me about an hour

I‘ve never done a lot of wiring and this was really not bad. Pull up the install video and just take your time. The trim pieces all come off really easy. Getting the wiring all setup isn’t bad. It takes a little finesse to get to the wiree to tap into. But, is not bad. I think It’s actually a good first wiring project to kind of give you confidence. You will be glad you did it.
