True. I think that Grainger should be forthcoming and proactive about understanding how this will work out.I think you are overlooking one crucial detail. Customers weren't going to get Broncos for years anyway.
If Granger has about 475 orders, and if Ford was only going to give them a "normal" allocation of 100 Broncos a year (the number in your example):
100 people would get Broncos in 2023,
100 in 2024,
100 in 2025,
100 in 2026, and
75 in 2027.
How really different is that than if:
300 people get Broncos in 2023,
100 in 2026, and
75 in 2027?
Except, wouldn't 200 more people will have gotten Broncos in 2023 without waiting until 2024 or 2025?![]()
