What about Everglades orders? Those by default have MIC and SAS but not the option of the LUX package. Are those builds in danger too?

I don't recall how many customers are still on the Granger waiting list, but it was still quite long. So even if Ford allows the use of 2023 and 2024 allocations, that still might not cover all customers on their list.

Also, even if technically you can keep hardtop on the 2-door and be eligible for the $2500, it's still likely going to be a long shot to get the vehicle in 2023. I suspect that offer is kind of dead man walking, and more to avoid grief from customers who would feel forced into a 4-door. In reality, for many people the only way they are getting a MY2023 Bronco, is 4-door soft top non lux/sas.
In early November it was around 477.

Couple of things pointed out in the call tonight worth bullets
  • 2 door doesn’t drop the top or have to go to 4 door. Also no 2 door soft top in the works. You would have to drop Lux and SAS only to get the offer
  • Offer only applies to unscheduled orders
  • Depending on where you are in line with your dealer, you could potentially take no action and get scheduled if they have allocations. Your not forced to change.
Yep, and like I said previously, I believe that they will try to get all the two door Broncos built... for a number of reasons, however, they must get enough soft top conversions to make it happen.

My prediction is that 2 door production will increase and happen in spurts like it did in 2021. Sometimes 2 door production hit nearly 50% when my first OBX was built.

I am going to personally take the risk of switching from the WildTrak and Lux package to an OBX with high package. If I get lucky, I might end up with an OBX 2.7 advanced 4x4 for right at $40k. I see that as being an excellent value... I can fix the shortcomings for under $12k (which is what the WildTrak would cost).

I don’t think this is Right?

the email from my Dealership did not state anything about this.
if you had a softop - lux - non sasquatch/wildtrak build, you could in theory just drop from lux to high and get the private offer

I essentially did the same thing with my 4 door. I really was not happy at first that I wasn't getting exactly what I wanted (Every option ticked Wildtrak); However, when really thinking about it - I was going to replace most of everything down the road with aftermarket anyways.

I'll be saving some bucks by dropping things.. so will just use it towards all that stuff and be happy with actually hopefully having a Bronco this year.

Luckily I have a company vehicle (Bronco will stay in the garage) and I live in Florida - So I can live with the soft top until I can buy a takeoff or something down the road.

At this point, the future is grim for us after this year. I don't expect Ford will be doing anything else to try and "help" current holders once this year runs its course. I'm trying not to "Hang in there!" and find out.

My dealer email did not say anything about

have a Wildtrak order and dropping Lux or hardtop for $2500

This looks like bad info????
May not complete and not sure if 100% accurate. Tim Bertz just reported on his webcast you have to drop all options you have to get offer except you don’t have to drop MIC on 2 door.

After watching the McArthur Ford live stream, things don't seem quite as bad. The percentage over capacity for the 3 sins isn't a lot. I think a lot of people will take the $2500 and allow those that won't budge to still have a good chance for scheduling. I'm probably just naive. A Badlands non-sasquatch High package is still a nice Bronco. And if you're getting the seven speed you still get the 4.7 gears like the Sasquatch package.

This. Granger told me if I don't change my order accordingly I will have a "slim" chance of getting a truck. I am #21 at Granger as of the last list published. Un-Fucking-Real. I already nixed Lux. That was by choice. I can consider SAS dropping. But I cannot abide the 4 door. Just cannot. I guess I will adjust what I can and gamble.

I suppose I can scour lots for a 2DR that fits my bill and pray they would do MSRP and perhaps I can pull in my PP. That is about as good as it's going to get from my viewpoint.
According to Tim Bartz tonight @FordVideoGuy if you have a 2 door order then you only need to drop the Sasquatch and/or the Lux package to be eligible for the $2500. The hardtop rule doesn't apply for 2 doors.

You have to drop all options according to Tim Bertz.

It’s really not. They are just trying to help folks potentially get scheduled while freeing up others to potentially get built and they are offering some a $2500 to do so. They will continue building either way.

Just posted on Bronco Nation's forums by DDM4. The constrained items that must ALL be removed are MIC Top, Lux Package and Sasquatch Package (in order for non-Wildtrak customers to receive $2500 and risk not being produced in 2023MY).

frankly, I am not going to downgrade to non Sasquatch, soft top. Pathetic on Ford, they are launching newer models, upgrading existing models (Wildtrack) and can't build one. Beyond words, simply beyond any justification.

Your price protection changes based on your trim package. You will not get the same savings down grading. You may still get MY21 savings but it will be reflected on the trim level you have. I could be wrong but that was my understanding when FORD first presented this mirage. I say mirage since many if not most of us will never get to see it.
For 23 PP is based on what you had on order by the dates specified not what your final order is at delivery. You can downgrade or upgrade, doesn't matter, only thing you lose it on is Raptor and HE Limited.

Wait it out and hope to get built. The offer is a good one for some. They will continue to build all models.
