You know what one of the absolute points of comedy about this is. There is now no way to get a heated steering wheel. I know it may not mean much to many but we spend a lot of time in VT where it can get really, really cold. Imagine a 50+k car/truck where you cannot get a freaking heated steering wheel.
My wife LOVED hers when she had it in an older vehicle and complains how her new one doesn't have it. We lived in MN at the time

There is a possibility this is a massive head fake by Ford. They paint an ugly picture of the wait, get a significant number of people with high end builds that have PP to drop their orders or take this ludicrously low ball private offer and nothing was really that constrained at all.

They get to replace those production slots later this year with non PP and/ or 24 MY builds and reap the higher pricing.

Ford has already proven to be untrustworthy. This would just be one more step down the unethical path they started at launch. They haven’t demonstrated any sense of responsibility here and they can’t let a plant idle for 6+ months.

Sorta reminds you of pension buy-out offers at 20 or 30-cents on the dollar

You don't offer $2500 for people to switch if something isn't seriously wrong. Ford will potentially spend $50+ million on this program to get people into different builds.

Not sure about you, but that doesn't say head fake to me.

Idk
I bet ford reads these forums and someone said ‘let’s blow 50,000,000 just to make b6g members who have been waiting 15,000 days mad.

I mean how else would it make sense?

They would if the 50 million is less than paying out the price protection.

Soft tops for the 2 door to replace hard tops with $2500 credit that won’t be half of what a hard top costs in the future when their available. This is going to happen and it sucks

Do you not understand what they're doing? They're offering $2500 to get Broncos FASTER in FY23 before PP expires. Your theory makes no sense.

If getting the SAS wheels from China is the problem for Ford, aren't there enough for sale on FB Marketplace and OfferUp for them to just buy from there and slap them on at MAP :ROFLMAO:?

Unfortunately they want 70k for both….With my price protection, I was all in at less than 56k. I may call anyway to see if there is wiggle room but suspect not. Thanis for the heads up though.
I have looked high and low and the cheapest I can find a WT with Lux and Leather is 10k over MSRP... folks keep saying they're on dealer lots with no ADM and I call bs....

Been waiting 910 days (reserved July 21, 2020). Have had on order from day one the Wildtrak, MIC and Lux. Originally had tow but dropped that a few months ago. Got vin a number of weeks ago and an original build date the week of 1/9/23. That was updated a few weeks ago to a scheduled build date for THIS WEEK. It has not changed as of now.

Just wondering if my Wildtrak is already set in stone since it is supposed to be built within the next few days or if the rug is going to be pulled out from under me. I’ve already waited 910 days, what’s another 1,000 days? By the time I get the Bronco I’ll be so old I will need to get one of those hitches to park my old man scooter.
