Guys anyone here had any type of experience like mine, my car blend date was 11/28, it was produced, but went on chip hold on 12/05, then after couple of times talking to the ford chat, they told it should be released by 12/24 from chip hold, and on 12/29 the tracker updated to "Built" and 2 days after i got the email from ford "Built email" then i talked to the chat today, and they told me the vehicle is produced, and awaiting shipment but with a chip hold, i talked to them for more details and they told it was produced, built and released from the factory, and awaiting shipment but it is on hold for a microchip, anyone else having the same issue? How is this possible to get the car built but still on hold for a microchip?
It could be out of the factory but waiting for a chip or two would be my guess. Do you have a high or lux package? As those seems to be the ones which most likely get a chip hold.

You might want to try to call/chat again and get a different representative. Maybe you will get a different story.

As Obi Wan Kenobi says "you’re going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.” “The truth is often what we make of it; you heard what you wanted to hear, believed what you wanted to believe.”"

You probably know this but just in case. Although you get switched over to a BSNF train for my Texas buddies you still track it through CSX.

Here was my rail journey to the DFW area:

- 12/20/2022 - Arrived in Clearing, IL
- 12/22/2022 Arrived in Gibson IN
- 12/25/2022 Arrived in Fort Madison IA
- 12/26 Arrived in Kansas City KS
- 12/26 Arrived Oklahoma City KS
- 12/27 Arrived Gainsville TX
- 12/28 Arrived at Alliance Rail Yard Haslet TX (Fort Worth)

Damn that's at least two week away now.
Yeah, I think what really is going to determine this, is how long will it sit at Clearing, IL and then when the dealership will pick it up. Seems like everyone is getting held up there. I've read some post that broncos were held up there for 2 weeks or more.

Hoping yours moves fast and doesn't end up like a couple of ours in North TX.
Mine moved quickly from MAP to Alliance TX to only be sitting 10 minutes from my house since the 27th. My dealership told me yesterday they have over 30 cars sitting at the Alliance rail yard with no control over the truck pickups/deliveries.

My hope is that the holidays are over and will be ramping up. But who knows? I can say for certain neither Ford or the dealers know :)

We'll see if it's any better/worse in the Houston area. Ours arrived in Pearland, Tx this morning around 2:30am. It left Clearing on 12/29, so it moved down here very quickly. What I don't know is if it will stay on the railcar and be brought to North Houston to Unload, or if it will be offloaded and brought to the dealer from Pearland by truck. We were hoping to have it at the dealer by this weekend, but I don't know if that is going to happen now.
