Got an update from CSX this morning. My railcar's scheduled arrival at Chicago Clearing, IL moved one day earlier to Jan 4th now.

Do you know what "Chicago Clearing" is? Like I know it's a railstation hub but what's the significance of our broncos heading there?

My understanding is that CSX only operates east of this Mississippi River. Clearing is a main rail hub where they switch the cars from CSX to a different line. Mine left MAP on CSX, switched to Union Pacific in Chicago, and then somewhere it ended up on a BNSF train.

So I finally got the shipped email, but chat says it is still on chip hold even though it shipped. Is the final missing module going to be installed at the dealership? I had not heard of this happening.

You can continue to track it through the CSX system. It stays on their car, just a different railway.

Finally on the railcar sitting in Detroit. My deal said the is still a note that it has a chip hold, he figures someone didn't update it

Guys anyone here had any type of experience like mine, my car blend date was 11/28, it was produced, but went on chip hold on 12/05, then after couple of times talking to the ford chat, they told it should be released by 12/24 from chip hold, and on 12/29 the tracker updated to "Built" and 2 days after i got the email from ford "Built email" then i talked to the chat today, and they told me the vehicle is produced, and awaiting shipment but with a chip hold, i talked to them for more details and they told it was produced, built and released from the factory, and awaiting shipment but it is on hold for a microchip, anyone else having the same issue? How is this possible to get the car built but still on hold for a microchip?

Not a peep, I'm assuming it's still at Alliance. Hopefully now with the holidays over they can get a car carrier over there. I know there are at least a couple of others in this group who are also sitting at Alliance.

The backdoor link still shows a date of 12/31 to 1/6 so there is hope. But then again the dates seem to be Ford just throwing a dart at the board.

Here is Ford Chats latest, they said its Built, in transit with a railcar number but says it still on a hold. I've never seen anything like this. Anyone got a clue on what's going on?

I show your 2023 Bronco - is In Transit. The Railcar # is TTGX706981 (Norfolk Southern Corp ) and the estimated arrival date is 01/06/2023. The vehicle location is Ramp 4G, Mi Assebly Plnt, MI. There is a hold on your vehicle. I am not able to see what the hold is for.
