Huh I feel like I missed something. By private offer do you mean a loan offer? Or are all 2023s now private offers.

I feel like if we were all losing our price protection a lot more people would be raising chaos. Hopefully I'm just understanding the terms wrong.

I'm no expert, I'm in this just like you. But the way I understand it is price protection refers to protection from mid-year price increases that are a normal thing and are usually a rebate. Those don't apply to the 2023 yet. What we consider price protection from ordering previously, is now known as a private offer via certificate in smart vincent.

I hesitate to post this but, hey, I can take the heat.

My delivery estimate changed today, or last night, to three days earlier. It was between the 22nd and 28th, now the window is 19th-25th.

Waiting for the peanuts from the lower gallery....


I really have no idea where the vehicle is, I know it says shipped but other than that do not bother with Chat or asking the dealer for the info to track it via railroad. When it gets here, it gets here.

Looks like the vehicle has arrived at the dealer. Should be able to take possession on the 7th.

What was your blend date?? When did you ask to know you were on chip hold?

11/17 blend called ford a week after and was told chip hold as of today still has not shipped

When I spoke with Ford Marketing yesterday they gave me information on two different certificates. One is called the Price Incentive Certificate. For me that has a value of $825 and it will expire on 12/31/22. There is also a "Transition Private Offer Certificate" which is the "price protection" we've been talking about for a long time. For me that is worth $3620 which tracks with the price protection flow chart. That certificate is set to expire on 1/3/23. The Ford Marketing person said Ford "might extend it" but told me to immediately email the certificate numbers and amounts to my dealership so they have it on file.

I'm worried because I have no clue where my Bronco is. I have a build date of 12/1 and a shipped date of 12/2 but no rail info or anything else. The other bit of information the Ford Marketing person told me was that they were trying out a new tracking system and that system was telling her my ETA was specifically for 1/2/23. The regular tracking system is giving an ETA of 12/30/22 - 1/5/23. But all those dates could be complete bullshit and are subject to change.

Since my status has been “inactive” until today, the change to “pending pickup” means my Bronco in Delaware waiting to be trucked to my dealership in NJ?????
Theoretically I could drive 2hrs to actually put eyes on it, but I still have to wait hrs/days/weeks/months to actually receive it?

This is the second South Jersey order I've seen that is closer than mine is.
However, who really knows how long it will actually take to get from DE to Cape May?
@JCSmith, I really hope you get yours before the end of the year!
The other one @EpicExplorer received his right before Christmas, and he had same dates as mine and his dealership is only 12 miles away from mine.

12/08/22 - ship date
12/12/22 - arrived in Walbridge, OH (less than 60 miles from plant - 4 days for 60 miles!)
Still in Walbridge, OH (RAIL # BNSF 300183)
This morning's update is delivery to Twinoaks, PA 1/7/23 (was 1/4/23, 12/28/22, 12/24/22, 12/23/22, 12/22/22, etc.)
Then who knows how long to the dealership.
Ford really better honor that Private Offer after 1/3/23!

Ford’s communications on PP have been about as mystifying as the Bronco roll out and the pizza tracker. Some say the PP expires for good which would cause an uproar and some say they will issue new certificates in January to continue the PP. A marketing specialist told another B6G member that they were good bc they had a build date prior to January even though delivery will be next year. Couple this with dealers who have no PP guidance or choose to ignore it and you’ve got a big mess.

I went in on Dec 23rd to talk to my dealer about loans, it took a long time, they were trying to figure the private offer out. I was a bit anxious they would not be able to figure it out. They came back with my long sheet, they figured it out. Figured out my loan but I am only locked in for a few more days....

Its said shipped. since 12/5/22. It got shipped from map to the rail yard which is close, its been at the rail yard since 12/5, The lady i spoke with was not too sure.

I just don’t understand how they have issues getting from MAP to the 1st rail yard? Surely that’s easy? I can see them maybe then sitting at that rail yard a minute…

I can’t figure out whether I’m jealous of you rail shipment folks, with all your fancy tracking info to feast on and ponder over. Or, if I’m glad that mine is shipping via convoy and that I’ll get a notice from Ford that it has shipped sometime during my 4th or 5th tank of gas.
