I have just noticed this honeycombing pattern start to reveal itself on my driver side front panel. Mine was a June 2022 build so supposedly MIC2.0 I know this was an issue on the original MIC tops. Is this something I should be concerned about and should I bring it to the dealer for warranty replacement? I'm already waiting for a warranty replacement tailgate for my clicking noise issue.

I'm a March 2022, I have honeycombing as well. I only see it in certain light as of now. I'm not doing anything about it yet as they very well might not even swap it for something as cosmetic as that. I'm just waiting for it to start to crack and/or separate and then I will file a warranty claim. This is my first Winter with it so I suspect some warts to appear.

Just one panel or all panels?

I haven’t seen one that doesn’t have honeycomb in bright light….some are better than others but they all have it.

They may all have it, but not as bad as that panel. Either way, it’s a warrantable concern as far as Ford is concerned.

I see. where did you get this from? Is it from a TSB?

Similar. This is part of a GSB. General service bulletin.

Wow I didn’t realize IKEA made the hardtops

Well, with my experience with IKEA furniture you put it together once and never take it apart to move it or reassemble it again.
So maybe never remove or touch the top.:D

Tell that to my dealer, who refuses to submit MIC claim’s anymore, as Ford has denied every one. Including mine that has that same honeycomb plus other issues (hairline cracks under windows, different color panels, mis aligned clamshell corners, and on and on)

So they are saying it IS a warranty covered issue? Thanks

Mine was built in June 2022 also. So far so good but it is garaged, and I treat it with 303 Protectant. If it was uniform with no other issues.....actual would look just fine. What concerns me is some of the cracks some are reporting at lower edges of the side windows. I am praying mine holds up. I plan to keep this Bronco for decades....it better! Ford MUST stand by this product. They chose the design and materials. We shall see. Down the road if these tops start falling apart and Ford won't replace them with a better product...it may take a class action to get something done. For now, I am going to try and think positive.
