Given price protection is tied to name, if I use price protection on lower trim from different dealer I can’t further use price protection anymore if my 21’ order actually gets built in 23’?

That is correct. Can't double-dip in the same model year.Given price protection is tied to name, if I use price protection on lower trim from different dealer I can’t further use price protection anymore if my 21’ order actually gets built in 23’?
Actually... that's a good question. I haven't checked to see how Ford handled that for 2023MY.What happens if you have 2 orders placed? Is certificate offered on each order? or just one cert per person regardless if 2 orders?
Yes!Question: I had a (7/14/20) reservation on a 2 door Black Diamond and ordered (9/30/22) a ‘23 2 door Badlands.
Does that make me Group A ($3,325 BD) Private Offer/Price Protection?
Thank you!
Ford (and most other manufacturers, now that I think about it) typically don’t price protect limited production vehicles. The Bronco Raptor is one of those limited production vehicles. It does not make sense why the price protection goes away if you are ordering a Raptor. I originally had a badlands so my price protection should be $3,220. You would think I should still receive this amount since I am buying something from Ford.
My point is that it shouldn’t be about the specific vehicle, because if I did not happen to get a raptor allocation I would be buying a badlands. Either way I’m buying something from Ford and the price was increased from the time I originally ordered until the time I pay.Ford (and most other manufacturers, now that I think about it) typically don’t price protect limited production vehicles. Just wanted to chime in as I stopped watching this thread. But @RagnarKon is correct that only one certificate can be used at a time. But to clarify, the question on multiple orders - you will have a separate certificate for each qualified order. Any one of the certs can be applied to a MY'23 Bronco (except the HEL and the Raptor). Your dealer should apply the greater amount.Actually... that's a good question. I haven't checked to see how Ford handled that for 2023MY.
I will say you can only use one certificate at a time. So even if you had two orders with two certificates, you can't double-up and put both certificates on one order.
SameI’m group b price protected for badlands 2dr from 21’ order $2450 but if I found a lower trim 2dr or 4dr black diamond or a higher trim 2dr or 4dr wildtrack is my price protection the same $2450 amount for whatever trim I apply to on a dealer stock unit?
I didn't get any price protection.
My dealer clicked "protection date" in smart vincent and I still ended up paying msrp and that was about 5-6 weeks ago.
I thought I was going to get a check from Ford but nothing.
My order date was 11/05/2021, and I bought my bronco on 10/18/2022.
