Well other than the amp they install for it the speakers are trash.
Replacing them ASAP.

What are you talking about? These are tuned specifically for the optimum sound in the Bronco.




They even used science and the highest quality speakers communism could build.

Lol yeah I bought into that on both of the last vehicles I bought with the systemhowever the speaker selection is very limited for the sizes. I’m going with a mix of Morel audiofrog and Jbl.

I went with the Morel 402 Mk II and 602 Mk II speakers - that alone made a huge difference. The rear speaker pods bass cuts about 200 Hz. Just upgrading the speakers made a huge difference in the sound and made it livable.

Did you have to do any modifications? I’m looking at getting a set of Maximo Ultra 402 MKII Coax 4" 2-way

I had to trim some plastic for the 602's, on the 402's I had to remove 2 mounting tabs off the speakers (they are designed to be trimmed easily). The Maximo Ultra 402 MKII Coax 4" 2-way sound good.

Decided to go with audiofrog GS42 in the dash corners. Morel CDM 700 in center dash. Lower kick I installed JBL stage series 6 1/2 component utilizing the crossover to bring in the low powered by and AMC 2.300. Took the pods out in the rear and installed the JBL UB4000 powered by an ACM 2.300 amp and pulled the sub and replaced with a 300w 8inch Memphis sub powered by the ACM 1.300. Got lots of clear sound that will remain when the top comes off!! All retaining the factory look. The audiocontrol amps hide away perfectly.
