So has anyone had the issue that your build list, the Window sticker that you received from ford when it was being built, and the window sticker that the dealer gives you are incorrect?
I picked up my new bronco Saturday. Wasnt gave the window sticker and we didn't see it (cause they were laminating it for us). So when I got home (my mistake) my Bimini top and cockpit cover weren't in the vehicle. (I know I should have looked better when at the dealer).
Called the dealer and was told that Ford took it off. They why did Ford send a sticker that has it listed and the website stated that it was there. Was told that is why the price protection is there... I asked if the dealer could call and find out why. Was told they couldn't do that.
Did anyone have this happen? What are you to do about it?

I got the correct window sticker, but my Bestop Trektop was missing from the vehicle when I showed up. Initially, the dealer told me that it wasn't included, and I hadn't bought it. Knowing full well what my invoice said, I showed them all the documentation, and then they "found" it in the parts department.

The explanation was that it probably came six months ago and was stuck in a corner somewhere. I don't believe that for a second, as I'm certain that all DIA/DIO are shipped with the vehicle, but I have no way to prove that.

Regardless, if it's on your sticker, and the sticker and the invoice that you paid match, they owe you a Bimini top and cover. If they don't relent, get in touch with Ford corporate.

Which dealer was this?

My Bestop didn’t come with the vehicle either. Being all excited about finally receiving my Bronco I overlooked the top. Returned to the dealer to find out the scoop. My top was provided to me about a week after vehicle delivery through the parts dept. The tops and covers aren’t factory parts. BTW, wait until your cover or top has an issue. Ford doesn’t warranty these and the manufacturers make it difficult to achieve warranty satisfaction. I am currently still trying to get a plastic insert for the metal brace that spans across the vehicle and supports the shade top. It has been four months and Bestop just this week sent me the WRONG replacement part. This plastic piece is the Achilles heel of this top. It will break time and time again.

Yeah, if it is on your windows sticker, you paid for it and you own it. And no, that is not what Price Protection is for. I would go back to the dealer and ask to speak to the salesmanager.

It could be something as simple as the service tech removed the items while doing pdi, didn't replace them and your salesrep is an idiot who just fast talked and lied his way through it, or, a bit more nefarious and the salesrep or an associate decided they needed these items more than you and took them for themselves.

Either way, I would go back to the dealership as you are owed these items.

That's interesting to hear. I had an issue with the passenger side rear bracket (there's a brass insert that is supposed to accept a screw from the lower window trim. The insert had screwed up threads, and wasn't pressed in completely. I made due with a 1/4" bolt and a couple washers with a nut, while I was waiting on Bestop to provide a replacement bracket.

I had the new bracket in about a week, despite them telling me it would be 6-8 weeks, as they had to manufacture a bracket specifically for this issue. All I did was contact them via email, provide my window sticker and a couple pictures, and they replaced it.

I agree that they probably just misplaced it. Push back on them and keep making noise until you get what you paid for. Its probably not them being malicious, more likely just incompetence.

Dealer installed accessories are shipped to the dealers parts department. Sometimes they arrive before the vehicle and sometimes after. Either way you are owed those accessories

I have called Ford Customer care and they stated that the Dealer will have to do a miss Build claim. Let's see if that happens

Most items like this are shipped to the dealers by the vendors. When they arrive is based on vendor inventory and has nothing to do with the vehicle availability. It is very possible that these things arrived much earlier and were misplaced by the dealer. That being said, they should have a way to track that and have a place for things like this. This is not a new thing.

They come with the vin number attached so they can't ship them intill after the vehicle is scheduled to be built. And the vendors don't send them the fads that is contracted in your area does
