I was lucky enough to lock in at 2.99 for 90 days. I was in Africa in July when I applied but didn’t pick up till end of September. The 90 days helped me lock in.
I wish. I financed my Mustang at 1.79%, and I think I paid less than $1k in interest over the life of the loan. Granted, the note for the Bronco is bigger than my Mustang's was, but I'll end up paying like $5k in interest on this, assuming that I don't take big chunks off (which I will) as I go. I plan on paying this off two years early, so...

I'll also be looking to refinance if/when rates drop.

I put 30K down and Financed 51K.

My Raptor is the first vehicle I had not Financed with Navy Federal in 20 years or more. End of October they were 3.89 for 60 Months. Did a bit of shopping and low and behold the small local credit union was 1.99 for 60 Months. Knocked it to 1.89 for automatic payments out of NFCU.
Do you mind sharing the name of the local credit union? My build date is coming up and I'm trying to lock in a decent rate.

Thanks

I was planning on putting down 50% and financing the rest... but that was over 1.5 years ago. With interest rates blowing up I will probably put down closer to 80% and financing the rest and paying it off quick.

I was planning on just writing a check (my dealership actually asked for a check vs wire or 100 dollar bills) but recently found a 1.99% interest rate at a credit union. I found a CD paying 3.88% for 6-months so looks like i will put in on a 6-month note, collect an arbitrage of 1.89% and pay it off. Score!

Depends on what interest rates looks like whenever it arrives. Prepared to pay cash but would finance if the rates are favorable.

That’s why I’m paying cash for mine whenever it comes in. Unless, I get a chance at a Braptor, then I’ll finance about 20k

Who did you get 1.99% rate through?

I just saw that the Fed is planning to raise rates by another 3/4 point. If you're planning to buy, lock your rates now!

I financed 1/2 via the dealer to get a better price and extended warranty package. Then paid it off after 3 payments. Am not a extended warranty fan, but with all these weird issues reported and new electronics and cameras on the LUX did not want to take a chance. It ended up basically free since I placed a deposit 2 years prior.

That's a damn good rate.

I thought I lucked out when I found 2.39 that I just locked in 10/31.

Now it's 2.94...

Now I'm in TX, so no way I could borrow from Bowater... Only 5 local counties eligible. Unless of course a family member... 🤔
