I have the twill Bestop Trektop on my 4 door badlands and I really like it. I now have a 4 door MIC top in my basement!this is my first time really looking at after market options. How are their products??
Me too and I was ghostedI had brought this up in August 2021 and the response from Bestop was tepid. I had thought there was some design limitation. Please make a Bestop Sunrider for 4-door that replaces front 3 panels | Bronco6G - 2021+ Ford Bronco & Bronco Raptor Forum, News, Blog & Owners Community I ended up ordering a soft top to get it sooner, but would love to be able to source a rear shell and install this.
I am so sorry! I am sending a private message to you now.Me too and I was ghosted
I’d figure Anderson Composites would be the one to contact - since theirs is a direct replica of OEM. ADV version doesn’t have the removable rear seat panel. So, they’d have to tool an entirely new product for a minute amount of customers that are into this product. Hopefully Anderson can offer just the rear cap separately once they are in full production.Well I contacted @ADV Fiberglass and they have no plans or I'm guessing interest in offering just a rear shell. Maybe another manufacturer who decides to make a hard top will consider this option. If not time to source one from a salvage yard.
Hmmm wonder if Leer would be willing to take this on.
They haven't released any info on possible pricing yet have they?I’d figure Anderson Composites would be the one to contact - since theirs is a direct replica of OEM. Bestop or Anderson? They haven't released any info on possible pricing yet have they?
Anderson. I saw they are making a composite and carbon fiber for the four door. But couldn't find anything on potential pricing.Bestop or Anderson?
Yeah, I’m curious. You’d think those panels themselves are nearly as expensive to make as the rear shell.Anderson. I saw they are making a composite and carbon fiber for the four door. But couldn't find anything on potential pricing.
EDIT: I just tracked them down on Instagram. From reading their replies it looks like their full composite top is going to run $6k. So my guess just the rear shell would be around $5k.
And here I thought it was Ford's solution to faulty front and mid sections of the MIC, that for a warranty replacement of removable panels you get this instead.Just sharing what Bestop confirmed:
