Sorry if this was discussed somewhere else, but how does one get a golden ticket? Does the dealer reach out to reservation holders? order holders? Or would I have to reach out and say I'm interested if available? I'm scheduled and don't want to delay my current build but I wouldn't say no if I was offered a raptor with a similar build date. Just curious.

Golden tickets were from the hand raiser email Ford distributed in early 2022 to some of the initial reservation holders (believe Ford sent notification if selected around 2/18). That was the only allotment, and any subsequent Braptor selection would presumably be based on dealer allocation.

Ford produced about 25k F150 Raptors across over 700k F150s sold. That comes out to about a little under 5% of their run.
By that match, Broncos are averaging 16k units per month now, but the year comes out to about 100k. So if the averages stay the same, they'll make about 5k BRaptors a year for now, but initial reports showed about 3k a year for the first few years.
Roughly 3000 Ford dealerships across the US, you can see how the math adds up.

Disclaimer: This was with very quick and minimal research, so numbers are rounded Q3 numbers only.

Given the overall constraints with the Broncos and that the BRaptor is a fully, fully loaded Bronco (which have the highest constraints) I would assume the BRaptor numbers will be potentially lower than your estimate.

So why would the 3 that didn't get their '22 Raptor order filled not be the first 3 on the '23 list? What am I missing here?

They are getting theirs first on the 23 list. Unfortunately, no additional allocations for 2023 for anyone else

Oh sorry, I misunderstood. Thought you were one of the ones from '22.

No, I thought the dealer had 3 allocations for 2023. That's not the case, the 2022 allocations were moved to 2023

No, the GT were for hand raisers in 2022. I have a 2023 Braptor order at the moment, but the dealer has no allocations for it, so it goes away and I go back to my orginal order.

I'm over two years, so I'm going on three. Would be three by the time I get my Bronco. My dealer thought Ford would roll over the 3 allocations from 2022 plus the 3 for 2023, to give them a total of 6, but Ford didn't roll over any allocations from 2022
Wow, where did you learn math to round up?

I would try for the Heritage Limited. They are going to be dealer assigned allocation so you and the other 2 might be lucky enough to get them since you kinda got the rug jerked out from under you. In defense to your dealer, we had rolled out for a 22MY BRaptor and assigned it to our hand raiser but it never got built. Rolled over to 23 MY allocation numbers. Really disappointing that we lost the 22MY build.

I am the dealer rep for Stephens Auto Center.

For 2022 Raptors we were allocated I believe 14 Raptors. We did not take delivery of 14 Raptors. When 2023 ordering began, we thought, incorrectly I might add, based on the chart we saw from Ford, that we had 3 from 2022 that would roll over and add to our 3 that were earned for 2023. We took Raptor orders. Ford did not roll over the 3 from 2022. Therefore, some customers lost their ability to receive Raptors.

2022 Raptor orders were based on “hand raising” with Ford. 2023 Raptor orders are at the discretion of the dealer. Because we *thought* we would have three rollovers, and we thought we would earn additional based on 2023 sales, we took more orders for Raptors than what the allocation turned out to be. It was a bad assessment of the situation on our part and one that we regret, however, the bottom line is, we’re limited in the number we’ll be given, therefore, some of those orders we took are not going to get a Raptor.

John, I know that you don’t know officially how many, if any, of the 14 allocated will get built in MY23, but if you were to make an educated guess, what would it be?

I've got the Raptor order and confirmation from Ford, but it's getting taken away
Have you called Ford Bronco support line to confirm this? I would think if you have order number and confirmation from Ford you would be okay.

Been strung along going on three years now. (Reservation 7/18/2020). Got the opportunity to change my order to a Raptor through my dealer at Stephen's Auto Center thinking that Mother Ford would carry over the 3 unused Raptor allocations from 2022 plus the 3 allocations for 2023. But NOOOO, Mother Ford is allowing ONLY 3 allocations total, knocking me out of a chance to get into a Raptor. This whole experience has been a disaster since the beginning.
Waiting 3 years for a vehicle that was first produced in early to mid-2021? People love to be a martyr.
