Help on tracking rail please

Good morning to all!

Can someone please help me out in tracking the last known location of my Braptor by rail? TTGX851470

The Braptor was scheduled for production the week of 09/19/2022. The app shows :

In production
09/27/2022

Built
09/28/2022

On 09/30/2022 I received an email from Ford that it was built and then immediately a second email that it had been shipped.

The tracker shows it is in transit to my dealership in south Texas. I am assuming it will be railed to San Antonio then by truck down south.

I called the Norfolk Southern number, followed the prompts, and said on 09/25/2022 it was in Lordstown, Ohio. I then call the Ford number and they said it was in Chicago as of Friday.

I guess nothing is exact these days lol

You can try tracking the other carriers too, to see if the data is consistent (I was tracking via UP and CSX to California, and at times one was a little more current or provided slightly more detail than the other).

Called Union Pacific and that stated as of 10/10 it is in Wayne, Michigan. I guess i'll feel much better once it leaves that area and makes it to a state south of Michigan.

That’s interesting, and would seem based on that update the rail car hasn’t left MAP (or is just doing so). I’d give it a day or so and try UP again as well as Ford chat to see a status update (the BNSF update may have been prior to it heading to MAP given the date). Mine took a couple weeks to get into the state after receiving the shipped notification, albeit still at the rail yard.

I just called. The latest is:

Loaded train departure date of 10/10/2022 at 8:59 pm and an estimated arrival date of 10/17/2022 @ 8 am. Origin ramp is Wayne, Michigan. Looks like its on the move!

That’s great to hear there is movement. Mine ultimately was 2 days longer on the rail, but still early in the delivery estimate from Ford as it didn’t take as long to get out of the rail yard. Supposed to pick up this afternoon.

Mine has been built since 09/28. It stayed at the yard for a good while. My original and current estimate from ford for delivery is 10/14 - 10/20. I'm assuming its headed to San Antonio then trucked the rest of the way (4 hours south).

I had a 9/19 Blend and Ford Chat just tells me it is sitting at Blue Island since last week.

So i called UP again and now shows it left this morning at 548am. So id love to know where its at. The only status I'm getting on the phone is the latest move but never a last location.

Try calling one of the other rail companies as well. Even though mine was on UP to CA, CSX would provide greater detail on interim location until it actually arrived at the destination.

I used the CSX Tracking for the entire journey. They provide name of the city and arrival time.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Anyhow, it arrived to Laredo, TX at 12:59 pm today. So its 3 hours from me now. So close but yet so far lol

With the CSX tracking, they provide tracking up to and including it being unloaded from the railcar. So you'll know when it hits the ground. The next wait will be for the transport to carry it to your dealer, unfortunately mine sat at the railyard for 2 full weeks before it made its final 15 mile trip to the dealer. Hope yours is delivered more quickly.
