2023 Bronco Allocation is Based on These 2 Factors

Zach your thoughts on Heritage models? Do you think Ford would even attempt to rush those out or I'm thinking those will be constrained just like others. If I'm losing price protection anyway maybe I'll get in line for a Heritage.

I would assume that those trims will have a longer wait time. I know Ford has announced the Heritage Limited edition is late availability.

So, up front I want to say that my order is with a different dealer. While I think the level of communication from Granger is great and commendable, I wonder whether they are continuing to take orders now that the reality is that those orders have no chance of being delivered within the next 2-3 years? And if so, are they communicating that before the order is made?

We haven't taken any orders since the initial reservation system was closed for 2021.

No Ford Dealer is taking new orders since Ford is not allowing new orders since a huge number of orders have not been fulfilled, based on those dealers that have shared information.

Granger had only 28% of their orders fulfilled (If Ford delivers the 50 Vin's pending delivery in 2022). So 72% of their orders are still pending.

This huge number of undelivered orders is hopefully why Ford has stopped new orders.

If the low estimate is only 33% orders delivered and high estimate is 50% of orders delivered then here is estimate number of months of production backlog Ford still has to produce to complete the remaining orders across ALL order holders estimated below.

Man, reading this letter I am glad I changed a few things on my order at the guidance of Landmark Ford in Oregon to get my Bronco built. I really feel bad for folks that can't get theirs scheduled because of commodity constraints.

This really blows for some folks... It also means that there will be scumbags flipping Broncos for huge markups for at least another year

Well. Down to #325 now. Probably won't get a 2023 at all now. Ford really screwed this up. Time to just buy something else and maybe one day I'll have a Bronco. First and last Ford if I do ever see it.

Glad I at least got a Moab off road trip out of the deal.

When Ford brought back the Bronco one of the reasons was to tap into the market that almost exclusively belonged to Jeep and then get those people to shop other Ford products based on their Bronco experience. They've done exactly the opposite. I know executives are short sighted and only interested in their next bonus but someone in Fords leadership must have a long term vision.

Obviously I ruffled some feathers with this question. I apologize for that. Like I said, I really admire the level of transparency you guys are showing with this whole thing. To me, not taking new orders until the backlog is worked down some is the right move, for dealers and Ford as a whole. That is really all I was trying to convey.

Well, that is the trick of it. If FORD did the honorable thing, they would simply build the remaining reservations as quickly as available materials would allow. It is a clear choice at this point to side step the people that went into this with good faith and yet they continue these ridiculous practices so that they big box dealers can gouge another $5-30K per truck.

They could clear the list in MY23 if they choose to. They clearly are not and do not care.

Welp. I guess I am a MY24 or MY25 candidate. Grangetober 2020 reservation.

DD crapped out and I had to sell it this weekend. Driving a rental. Placed an order for a F150 tremor with Granger (3% under invoice) and it shows in production with a Blend Date of 9/25. Hopefully it is in Iowa within a month.

Not sure what I will do with the Bronco order at this point. I will have to decide once we have details of COVP.

First time I'm seeing myself on the xls and I'm in the 700 range, lol. That's no surprise, I like Granger, but the tea leaves were clear, this vehicle is essentially never arriving.

Frankly, I haven't wanted this vehicle enough, to lift a finger making a second order elsewhere. I feel bad for the guys in early and still waiting, who were very keen on getting one. Especially for the guys waiting without a Wrangler or other open top 4x4, missing out on years of off-road top-down fun.

You guys in that boat, go buy a Wrangler from Granger. Maybe Bronco shows up down the road or not, but you'll already have months/years of off-road top-down fun in the books.

Find a trail with the Wrangler, put a dent in the skid plate, encounter a bit of danger, see the sites ... come home with some adventure story to tell. Then you won't have much desire trading places with some early Bronco owner - who's max excitement is a grocery store trip.

Hey now, have you seen some of those grocery store parking lots!

I'm closer now than I have been in 2 years and Ford is finally (hopefully) going to give me a white top but I make no pretense that my Bronco will see more than a trail over its life with me so look out Publix I'm coming thru!

How long did a "non-constrained" order take to get a build date. That is, when did you order the Tremor?

I want to get something to keep me from watching this Bronco mess so closely. I'll get it when I get it mentality is really hard right now haha!

That’s why I canceled mine and just don’t care anymore. Ford doesn’t want to sell to me, a loyal customer for 45 years, so so f them. I’m spending MORE money and buying a Land Rover.
