Mine has been built since March still waiting for them to ship mine from Michigan. Crazy cause I’ve seen other ppl get their broncos here in Texas don’t understand why mine hasn’t shipped with them.

So some blue collar railroad worker is going to care more about $60K Broncos being delivered than providing for his family?? Good luck meeting them at the Pickett line on that one. I personally have zero desire to have a size 12 engineer boot kicking my butt. I will wait a little longer.

This is a fun post for all of us that have been waiting forever. But the strike isn’t over pay. They get paid very well. My moms boyfriend is a engineer for RR.The reason for the strike is over scheduling. They have to be on call 24-7 so it leaves no time for plans or family. They want a regular schedule. Again not over money.

Just try getting a job with the RR, the seniority system is thick and you will have no life or personal time for YEARS AND YEARS while working your way up and then spend a career on-call, but yes good money and one of the few remaining decent “guaranteed” retirement systems out there.

Exactly, the industry has been cutting jobs for a long time and expecting those left to work longer and longer hours.
