So I’m going to be putting in an order for a bronco. It’s going to be white.

She likes the look of the big bend with the non painted flares and mirrors but hates the Color of the grill(easy fix)

but she also likes the high package(big screen mostly) and the different coloured interior

So can I order an OB with the high package and have unpainted flares and mirrors?

The wife likes the beefy look of the Sasquatch. But we don’t need the functionality of it. So would a 2” level and blocks make it the same height with 35s?

the struggle is real 🤷‍♂️🤦

No way to order obx without the painted flares, mirrors and door handles. Lift and 35s would be fine for your stated reasons. Just, for the love of God, spring for the $400 rear locker. I think the obx includes the "advanced 4x4 (Full time 4wheel-drive), but if not, get it. Both are cheap but very useful

Fender flares and mirror caps are easy to change out. I'm sure you can find some take offs. If not, just order from the parts department.

You could Sasquatch the OBX and change the fender flares later. The mirrors would be the only question mark.

If you get a white OBX with the white painted flares you will have no problem finding someone to buy them or swap with you (myself included).

I don't have my Bronco yet and am far from a suspension expert but 33s appear to fit fine without a lift so that might be a good balance if yours is only going to see light duty or paved roads and still give a more aggressive stance.

Good advice. You're correct that the rear locker is a great addition, (I got it) but OBX does not (in 2021) come stock with the Advanced Transfer case, it has to be added. However, the result is the same as you suggest: you cannot order the rear locker without the Advanced Transfer Case. Also, the full-time 4wd that comes with the Automatic Transfer Case is a really nice feature. You can leave the car in 4A all the time with no mileage loss, and great traction in all conditions, automaticly.

Keep in mind that the non-sas, non-locker OBX has 3.73 axles. The locker adds or upgrades to 4.27 axles, which lowers the gearing a bit, but makes upgrading to 33" tires less stressful on the drivetrain. I would think that if planning upgrading a stock OBX to 35" tires, than adding the Locker and its lower gear ratio is a must. Fords engineers put 4.46 axles in the 33" tired Badlands, and 4.7 gearing in the 35" Sasquatch, for reference.

The Sasquatch package is nice but very unnecessary for something that will only see at the worst gravel ever day going to our house or out camping a few times a year.

I like the price point of the BB. What do people with them think of the heated cloth seats?

And yeah I think the 33” with a minimal lift would be enough and still look stuffed in there.

33’s fit without any lift or crash bar removal. I ran a set of badlands rims/tires on my stock OBX for a few months. Then went with a lift and bigger tires. The sas OBX will not have painted flares and already have 35” tires. If it’s not a long term car it will bring a higher resale value in a couple years having sas and high package vs a BB mid. Whichever you decide at least get the rear locker I think you can even in the BB and get the 4.27 gears. I’ve had heated cloth seats in other cars and they have been very nice.
