Here you goWhat kind of sliders are those?
I have the stainless version. It's the same as strapping a mirror to the door sill. I've been blinded by the sun reflecting off it getting in so many times....Got these Ford Door Sill plates installed this weekend. Adds a nice subtle touch of styling and some additional protection for the door sill. They are made of steel so it will add more protection over the vinyl stickers that other companies have been putting out. No issues with doors opening or closing either. They are offered in Platinum Black (like what I have here) which is a mirror'd black chrome type of finish and they also have a stainless steel variant as well that is also a little bit cheaper.

No worries. How that go swapping to the thimble? I like them but nervous about doing the install. With the synthetic rope.
Hmm I don’t think mine is like that I don’t believe it’s through the hook then threaded back into the synthetic rope. The direction’s say the thread the end into the rope for so many inches. No worries.
The hook is held to the synthetic rope loop by a through-pin. Pull out the cotter pin then the through pin to take off the hook.
‘the thimble has a pin held in place by a captured c-clip (snap ring). As long as you have a pair of snap ring pliers, it’s about a 30 second swap.
