MY23, What to expect?

With build and price for MY23 right around the corner (supposedly next month). What updates and changes are we expecting to see? The heritage baby blue body color has been sneak peaked.

Additionally, what are parts of people's wish lists?

Personally I am hoping for the required "R&D" tax paying for an automatic trans in a manual Sasquatch build to be dropped.

The main thing I would like to see is for the digital dash to be standard across-the-board, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

What we will probably get:

• Painted hard top (aka: mod top)
  • If I were to guess it'll be painted shadow black initially, with body paint matching as a late availability item.
• New color.
  • To be honest, I fully expected this to be Atlas Blue to replace Lightning Blue and Anti-matter Blue—both which were discontinued in 2021MY. But obviously Ford leaked that lighter blue color a few weeks ago.

Beyond that, who knows. A lot of people are guessing they were going to release a Heritage trim. I don't think they'll do that since Everglades is going to stick around for the 2023MY. BUT, you never know, maybe instead of a full trim they'll make Heritage an appearance package available on one of the existing trims.

The only thing I personally would want to see is increased towing up to ~5000 lbs, the 2.7L offered with the manual transmission, and/or a hybrid version. Neither of those are likely to happen in 2023.

They should improve the stereo. The B/O system is marginally acceptable, anything less is like listening to music over a tin can. I'm no audiophile, but the mono speaker in my 63 Vette is about as good. It's actually embarrassing when showing it to buddies. Ahhhhhh, but it's a lifestyle vehicle... They couldn't understand right???

The will announce the return of Rapid Red, probably within 24 hours of my Bronco finally being built.

Honestly other than a few paint color changes, I expect a bit more de-contenting. Built in Nav will probably be completely discontinued.

Mod top will be Late availability, and probably locked behind a very expensive heritage package.

Digital dash for lux package is my guess. Crossing my fingers.

I would like the Raptor style dash for my Wildtrak, I like the layout better.

Funny the things you posted for 23 my.
B&O is being upgraded.
Digital dash will be an option, constrained by chips. (Not bbq chips)
Tops can be white this year and color added for 24.
Raptors are getting a twin turbo 3.5l. V8 is not coming. The 3.5 will have almost 500hp.
They are changing the tires on Sasquatch to eliminate the rock flinging.
Performance kit for the 2.7 is being released.
Modular bumper will have factory fog lights.

I heard that they will be removing the hotspot but the modem will remain for over the air updates. I just told the dealer to put me in 99 status, I really want the Mod top. I can wait a month when they open the order banks to confirm its an availability.
