I assume with the popularity and demand for the Bronco it will soon be a on the list of top stolen cars so I want opinions on how to best avoid becoming a statistic. Is a kill switch still the best option? any recommendations for ANY products in this regard??

You'll be incorrect

People steal cars to scrap parts, chop shop style

There are few simple places to re use bronco parts since it's a new model

Most stolen cars will continue to be Camry/civic/ accord because every part of the car can easily be resold and there's a huge market for the parts

It's damn near impossible to steal a new car nowadays with all the handshakes that have to happen between all the on-board computers. It's not like the hot-wiring you see in movies. Even if you had a key paired to a PCM and swapped out the PCMs; it still won't start because the PCM isn't paired to other computers - and you'd need a dealer tool to do so.

Don't want to become a statistic - don't leave a key in your car, valet or otherwise.

You're much more likely to get your catalytic converter cutout with a sawzall because it only takes 30s and the Bronco is up in the air, than getting your car stolen.

Thats not how it works. Boring (high production) vehicles are what they want. The market for Bronco parts would not be worth it. It’s not like they warehouse their parts for future sales. ?

I think you're most likely to deal with car jackings of newer model cars, but hope Arizona crime isn't that bad.

First, hope you exercise your 2nd amendment rights.
Second, be mindful of where you park the vehicle, think having it keyed or door dings are what most of us will deal with.
Third, stay vigilant of your surroundings and those around you. If something looks off, no shame in leaving an area
Fourth, avoid valet parking
Fifth, lock your car and don't leave crap in sight. Even those of us who will install HAM radios, take those out when not wheeling.

That list should help a little.

Exactly! Toyota trucks are a big cat target for their easy access, and surprisingly prius cats are stolen like crazy because they're worth more than other cats.

I could see Sasquatch wheel/tires being very likely to be stolen too

More likely is someone breaking in to steal what is easily taken/loose (GPS/Dashcam/Upgraded stereo + Speakers/tools/equipment/etc.). The worst is someone doing $1000 worth of damage to steal a $50 GPS. Don't leave ANYTHING visible inside, and don't make it look like you are hiding anything.

I disagree ... popularity creates markets .... besides all the projections are that the Bronco will be a high production vehicle just like the F150

Not sure about the rest of the country but in all honesty the cars I hear about being stolen all were unlocked with the key somewhere in the car... so my suggestion is don’t leave your keys in the car and even if you park in your garage make sure to keep key inside house.
