Looks like a fun playground, but man, the sand must get everywhere. Definitely stay on top of those air filters.

Yup! Badass pictures too. I'm about to take the family to Colorado Springs and if we had my Bronco I'd be doing that in the sand dunes south of Colorado Springs. Looks fun as hell.Nice! Looks like a blast!!!
If those weren’t aftermarket wheels, Ford would probably pay money for that shot.!You should send that shot of the wheel in the sand to Ford!
Nice Bronco, perfect for where you are. I love it in the Sonoran Desert out here.
Really? I thought it landed quite softly.Yeah that looks like a hard hit but pictures turned out good![]()
When it sent the sand flying up it looked a little roughReally? I thought it landed quite softly.
KMC Wheels would probably want that photo for its Bronco wheels pagesIf those weren’t aftermarket wheels, Ford would probably pay money for that shot.!
You’re exactly right… the impact on the take-off was harsh - the landing was actually very composed. Very impressed with the bilsteins for factory shocks. A bit more travel might be nice down the line, but gonna run these for a while. When it sent the sand flying up it looked a little rough
the bronco is fantastic in the sand… have found 4L is best for the super soft stuff we have here. Sand mode is OK but the ESC kicks in too often for my liking in steep dunes. Oh I bet. Though airing down helps most vehicles do okay in sand even FWD cars. Ask me how I know, after being stuck in my wife's old Fiat 500 several times in a row. Lol. Bodes well for our Death Valley/Mohave run!Hi from Dubai,
Been enjoying testing the bronco in the offroad terrain we have out here in the Middle East (mostly desert, some mountains). Loving it so far.
Enjoying the forum and picking up great intel along the way - keep it up all.
Happy Dubai Owner![]()

Now if only I could find that in black… just picturing what a teal ceiling would look like hahaAmazon... https://www.amazon.com/Cooling-Mattress-Airflow-CertiPUR-US-Certified/dp/B073JVPPWF/ref=sr_1_2?crid=5UIGUB23H8&keywords=Zinus+1.5+Inch+Swirl+Gel+Cooling+Memory+Foam+Mattress+Topper&qid=1653901926&sprefix=zinus+1.5+inch+swirl+gel+cooling+memory+foam+mattress+topper,aps,1219&sr=8-2
Opted for one with bumps on one side for sound dampening - not sure if it makes any difference as compared to a flat topper but it definitely works really well (bumps facing up). Just made sure it was cut as wide as possible to be snug against the trektop's hardware and sit on top of the roll bars (sides and c pillar) - had to cut out a small hole on each side for the rubber stopper on the trektop's center bracket, but otherwise just straight cuts. Obviously not possible for the foam to extend all the way to the front, so cut it flush with the bimini when the front bit is clipped back (didn't have any wind noise from the header section anyway so this is fine).
The difference at 87mph (the speed limit on a lot of the highways here) is huge, and well worth the little bit of effort each time. Haven't tested over a long period though, so not sure about durability - hopefully fine.
ha.. yeh, I had the same concern but actually you can't see it behind the bimini. Obviously black would be preferable, but not a particularly popular mattress color for some reasonNow if only I could find that in black… just picturing what a teal ceiling would look like haha
