Plus I folded back the excess at the front rather than trim itā¦ no reason other than it was hot out and I ran out of steamā¦. Still works great. Genuinely a massive difference in wind noise.
Thanks - great you've made it out here. The dune bashing tours can be great fun, especially if you get a driver who's prepared to push it. It's even more fun when you're driving...
ha.. yeh, I had the same concern but actually you can't see it behind the bimini. Obviously black would be preferable, but not a particularly popular mattress color for some reason š
the bronco is fantastic in the sandā¦ have found 4L is best for the super soft stuff we have here. Sand mode is OK but the ESC kicks in too often for my liking in steep dunes. Youāll have a blast when you do get to take it out.
Youāre exactly rightā¦ the impact on the take-off was harsh - the landing was actually very composed. Very impressed with the bilsteins for factory shocks. A bit more travel might be nice down the line, but gonna run these for a while.
yeh, have had problems with sand in the turbo of my ford ranger, ended up installing a snorkle with a pre-filter (donaldson topsin) - works great and kinda suits the ranger. Think it would look pretty terrible on the bronco tho, and the noise with the top off wouldn't be ideal either. For now, I...
Itās AMB but that xpel stealth wrap makes it look black. Itās undeniably hotter than lighter shades, but itās manageable. Every other car here is white and it all becomes a bit same same.
yep. Xpel stealth on antimatter blue. Wrapped it to protect against stone chips but looks great too.
Maybe itās psychological but feels like it might help with the heat - does anyone have any data on that?
