Twitter Campaign: #DirtMountainBronco

Since we can't seem to get anything out of Ford about our Dirt Mountain Broncos, even when we ask them individually on Twitter and other social media handles, maybe the time is to act as a unit.

If we can tie the Dirt Mountain debacle to their new campaigns--such as the hype train they are running for the Bronco Raptor--we just might at least get their attention and maybe even some meaningful communication.

Chances of success? Slim at best. But maybe we can at least give it a shot.

I tweet @Ford Motor Company and others every week asking why my Day 1 reservation isn't even at least scheduled. I've never received any kind of response.

Thanks. I finally had my fill of waiting for my Bronco and figured we had to do something, even if it was ultimately futile.

Looked for it and appears he's not a Twitter user.

However, remember that most executive blue check Twitter folks never actually look at their accounts. They are usually handled by the social media team and/or their agencies and will only get updated if the traffic on the handle is creating some embarrassment.

The key is volume--more posts, more attention, more retweets, more likes. That may eventually get their attention.

I've been liking and posting to almost all comments about Bronco delays. No issue actively looking for #DirtMountainBronco and supporting the cause.

@Ford reached out to me at one point but only said contact your dealer. No assistance at all.

I did it too and one of them must have reported me for harassment or spamming or something because my account was suspended for a week.

I've been respectful as well. Thinking I just did too many in a row and one of them got sick of it.
