-Did you remove the crash bars?
-2.7 or 2.3?
-How does it drive? Improved? Same?

Yes, 8.5 wide. Model MR70378560500. Yes, poke is perfect. Basically no tread extends past the flares, so the tires will throw little to nothing on the side of the truck. Very happy with the set up. Plus I bought them 18 months ago, before all the price increases. Only thing is I’ll need to change the crash bars for smaller ones. It’s fine for now, but it will annoy me after a while.

So far they ride really smooth but they're also brand new. They are also very quiet for an M/T. Noisier than the Goodyears but not by much.
Much smoother than the Goodyears which at couple thousand miles have already developed a vibration at highway speeds.

The Pats are vibrating at super low speeds on pavement, talking less than 10 mph especially when turning, but that's because you are feeling each tread block and is entirely normal for any M/T

As for balancing, the tire shop had a heck of a time with 1 of them and has nearly a pound of weight on it. The rest balanced out with 1.5-4 Oz

When I went to install them I noticed the geniuses at the tire shop clocked all 5 tires on the wheels wrong, because apparently despite it being their job they don't understand the concept of lining the yellow dots up with the valve stems for proper balancing.

So who knows, they likely would have balanced out way better if the shop had half a clue as to what they were doing. Gotta love small towns with limited options and no real expertise to be found.

looks good. I ran those on my jeep for about 3 years. Not sure if anyone told you, dont chalk test them and run low pressure on Highway. They are designed to run on center on road, ( like 34 lbs at least) then air down like other tires off road. They were a good tire to me, little loud, but ride nice.

Upgraded to 265/75R/16 BF Goodrich KO2 tires and added stainless beauty rings. If you look between the antenna and windshield you can see Mt Rainier way off to the west.

is there any poke? can you post some more pics off the after? I have a OBX as well. Also what is the weight rating on those tires?

I opted to keep the factory wheels on my OB, and just put bigger tires on. The factory tires are 255/70/R18 and the one I put on are 305/65/R18: Before & after

Grid GD7 20x9 +35 front +18 rear. So the rear pokes a little more. Only size I could get ahold of for the next few months. Damn China virus BFG K02’s 275 65 20. Love the look. No rub. Next is a 2” lift.

Thanks. Wasn’t sure if that was the only number I needed to be concerned with. I saw another post about hub-centric spacers and I thought the bolt pattern was the same.

This is indeed another factor to look at, but most aftermarket wheels including these are usually made with a relatively large center bore so they fit a wide variety of vehicles. The hub diameter on the Broncos are 93.1mm. As long as the wheels you are putting on have a center bore this size or larger, you're fine. I personally run hub centering rings on my Jeep with my wheels, that make up the gap between the vehicles hub bore diameter and wheel center bore. This is mostly so that the lug's are lined up perfectly within the holes so the lug doesn't need to "pull" the wheel center.

Hub-centric spacers are a different thing entirely. As the name implies, they're a spacer that attaches between the rotor hub surface, and the wheel to "space" the wheel further out. The hub centric part meaning the weight of this spacer, and the attached wheel/tire, are distributed through the hub as opposed to just the studs like in a regular spacer. This is significantly stronger, and the preferred design for a spacer. The only reason you would need a spacer is if the wheel you're running has too much backspace, which would tuck it further into the body of the vehicle. In combination with a wider/taller tire, this could cause interference issues. Based on the fact you mentioned you're aware of the "poke", I'm assuming you've already considered this factor
