Changing Interior Air Vents Tab Color?

Are they specific to Bronco vents only? My F-250 has similar vents and handles but I have no Bronco yet to compare. If other Ford units have the same piece, I'd jus get black as the yellow/orange in a Badlands will clash pretty bad with the exterior stripe I am planning on using.

You can try dyeing them if you can blend it to the color you're looking for. I did this with a bunch of PMAGs.

Someone somewhere else posted a link where someone on Etsy is 3-D printing these. My set came in over the weekend. Build quality is on par with MIC-1. 2 broke during install.

I got them too. Couldn’t figure them out.

Scuff with prep pad, wash with dish soap and dry, then some auto borne primer (got some for rubber and leather), 2 coats of wicked red (same a race red) then a coat of gloss or matte. Should take about a hour. See how it holds up on the rubber. May work, may not.
Did my bronco grill letters and wheel center caps. Haven’t had any issues, no chips or peeling. Gonna do the grab handle too. See what else can be sprayed. I do a lot of rc air brushing.

Did the letters in anodized red. Camera really can’t pick it up. Caps were coated in candy red just to change the silver.

Nice work! Did you remove the letters all together and spray then glue them back on?

I don't have my Bronco yet. I didn't realize these were rubber.

I did remove them. Just heated the backs where they were melted and pulled them out. Then pushed them back in and melted them again with the soldering iron. But today I did see on here if you order new letters they come unburned and you can use body nuts to hold them on.

Someone on Etsy was selling them, saw them a few weeks back, but poof they are gone now.
