I'm at 1300 miles and no issues so far. I do need to put more miles on it so it's not a year down the road when I finally hit a few thousand miles and something comes up.

At what mileage do we assume we are in the clear? Has anyone been following all the 2.3 w/ MT quirks?

Edit: mine is making a throw out bearing noise when cold, but it goes away after a minute or so. Iconic throwout noise that goes away when you push in the clutch.

My Friday No Update - Update: Dealership is still waiting on the slave cylinder that was supposedly overnighted 2 days ago but they apparently have no idea when it will be in. I've tried reaching out to the Ford rep multiple times who was supposed to be following up on this and she's MIA..

My transmission will not arrive until May. Ford has diagnosed the problem on March 6th, so it will take at least seven weeks until the part is delivered to my dealer. Any another car manufacturer would offer a buyback as Lemon law applies when the the dealer is not able to fix the problem within 30 days! Extremely disappointed with Ford customer service! This is my first and last Ford.

You can start a Lemon Law suit. Im in NJ and used it once on a 2004 Nissan Armada. Also for what its worth, they told me my transmission wouldn't be in till 4/2 and it was there more than 2 weeks earlier. My Bronco went in the shop on 2/3. It was diagnosed and transmission ordered on 3/4. It was completed on 3/14. Hoping for the best for you.

Thank you. Yes, I will have to pursue a lawsuit as Ford is not giving an any other options. Ford rep told me that one of the reasons why Lemon Law doesn’t apply is because "no prior repairs were needed, and my Bronco has not been in the shop for repairs that many times” I found this really hilarious as my Bronco has only 1800 miles on it, and has been driven for a few months.. .what a joke!!
Ford has essentially ruined all the “bronco excitement” built while waiting for 2 years to receive it!!!

Seems like the parts issues are a common occurrence. In my case they opened the flywheel box yesterday and found that Ford had put the wrong flywheel in the box. Supposedly a new one is coming in today, but i won't hold my breath. Friday also marked 1 month since i brought it in for service .

Interesting, Do they think the noise is due to the incorrect flywheel?

No sorry if that was unclear. The right flywheel was in originally, but They oredered a replacement flywheel and the part that came was wrong in the box.

Did you have the rattle noise that everyone, including myself are expecting?

Has there been any other trims reporting this? I may have missed some and it could be a coincidence but it seems its all Badlands reporting the problem

Updated the other MT noise thread yesterday on my status but for those keeping track here..the new slave cylinder the dealership was waiting on came in. Before they started working on my rig they took a closer look and decided it was best to replace the whole transmission. No ETA when it will be in but I am able to drive it for now

Mine is making the same grinding noise as everyone else’s. I’ve basically decided to just drive it until something breaks or Ford issues a recall with a fix/replacement. It’s my around town car so if something goes bad I can get it towed to my local dealer.
