You must be right but if you put a down paiement on it unless I clearly said no I think they can't really push me on the bench right ?

Depending on your laws in the local/country, a deposit means nothing really. It is all a mental tactic.

Consumer laws do protect you in the US, but even then, a deposit is just a currency exchange. A signed legal agreement means more than money. I don't get into all of that, if you tell me you want the car, it's yours. Has it burned me? Yes, but it is better than chasing money all day to hold a vehicle

If you tried to stiff arm me because you gave me your money and try getting free goodies, I'll initiate a refund and part ways. It isn't considered good business

EDIT: I also am in a top 10 dealer(sometimes top 15) and I have people who casually message me here, f-150/maverick forums or just by calling my cell - why? Because, I don't hassle or BS anyone. That alone, is more than free goodies to my customers. (sometimes I send them gifts via mail, but in a market like now, it is hard to get marketing materials)

Fellow Canuck.

Your dealer isn't going to give you anything.

They don't need to and if you walk away over $500 of free stuff they'll sell it to the next guy through the door. They do not care at all to negotiate on em

There isn't a shred of power you have buying a Bronco right now.

super clean answer thanks buddy! I've always been with this dealer and I wanted to gift them with the buying of a car since they always gave me good maintenance service. It's just that I need 1 or 2 more things now but gaz price is now about 7$/gallon here so even something as little as 250$ is rought. I don't wanna be an asshole I'm just wondering if it's possible to cut the pear in half like we say here.

Lol buddy I’m a non commission based associate. I get paid $250 for new or used. I’m not getting rich by any means. I wish I was at a different dealership then I would of made a lot more money off these vehicles. I’ll sell you at invoice if I can it doesn’t affect me, what does get old is constantly asking for free stuff after you placed an order. With everything you wanted. You’ve had time to order additional accessories… now the time is here and you want free stuff? I’m assuming the tank of gas the dealership is giving you wont be enough either?
It's not that we want "free stuff" it's that Ford said quite clearly it was allocating $1000 for each reservation holder as some sort of order retention program for the almost 2 years of wait. It seems like none of the dealers are even aware of this customer satisfaction program... I haven't seen a penny of that. So yes... some free accessories does not seem like too much inconvenience for you. Maybe I'm crazy.

Go talk to your dealer…but to expect or try and leverage freebies is ridiculous. I understand the frustration I still don’t have my bronco. But take the vehicle, get your free tank of gas, wash, the 42k ford pass points which is $210 you can use on any accessories, and oh yeah bronco off rodeo for you and another person…. But I guess people always want more

Honestly, getting at MSRP seemed like a win in my book, so I was happy to get out of there with just that. Never in a million years did I think I'd pay MSRP, much less think it was a "good deal" because of that.

You bought it on the lot ? Because me it's a special order that has been taking forever and on special order they can't do ADM

No, I reserved the night it was released and ordered last January when ordering came available The best negotiation I could get was MSRP. They acted like they were doing me a huge favor, so I didn't even bother with trying to sweeten the deal. Showed the finance guy the extended warranty plan/cost from Flood Ford when I went to pick it up and that shut down that lengthy part of paperwork, as he said he couldn't even come close. Good luck!

Were you able to add free stuff to your bronco order ? Mine is at MSRP (Canada you can't do ADM like in USA for order). I'm wondering if I buy heated seat and floor carpeting plus winter tire... can I get floor carpet for free ?

I'm usually good at this but atm I don't really have any lever on the dealer... it's not like I could pretend I'll buy it somewhere else if he doesn't give me anything.
Nothing through the dealership , $500 Military discount though Ford, assuming I get my Bronco by January 2023. Not counting on it getting my Bronco in time though.

As someone who works in sales, I would laugh at your request for freebies. I know for a fact I have a list a mile long I can tap if you back out of your reservation. I also know I get paid more money if I sell it to someone as a dealer stock unit rather then at MSRP to you. So what reason does the Dealership have to give you free floor matts? No one is tripping over themselves to lose money on a deal, and these Broncos at MSRP are barely over invoice as is.

So just fair warning. If you are already getting it at MSRP and feel like they need to sweeten the deal more because gas prices went up then you might just consider getting a Bronco Sport or something you can actually afford, no sense in buying a vehicle you can't afford to put gas in, its not gonna be good when you get it repo'd cause of missed payments.

But it's not a "special order" it's an order for a vehicle that tens of thousands of (much likely more?) people made as well. We all put in orders, we've all been waiting a long time. While I agree that dealers should give something like a couple of free oil changes or something similar (break-in, and first true oil change) thinking that because you ordered a vehicle it's "special" and deserves vehicle add on freebies is a little far fetched.
