What is the best grill option?

General questions regarding the grill:

1. Why aren't we seeing aftermarket grill options?
2. Is painting the grill a viable option, and if so does that depend on what material the factory grill is made of?
3. Do you think we will see aftermarket options soon?

1 and 3. I think you will eventually see aftermarket options, we just aren’t there yet. However, there are many people on this forum who are looking to swap grills for one from another trim level. Check out the marketplace.
2. The grill is basically plastic. Seems like several have painted them and even saw one person who did a wrap on his.

That is promising, thanks for the info. I think I would like a matte black finish but I'm not sure I can achieve that with a Badlands grill. Hard to say till I get my hands on it or someone else has painted it. I assume each grill in each trim will take different paint/methods?

The wild track and outer banks are painted black from the factory. My OBX has some metal flake in it.

imagine loving your home country is a bad thing. Imagine believing the idea of putting the well-being of your own people above others Is bad. Imagine a thread getting shut down for that. Imagine beliving any of that is political.

if that’s all it takes to get something shut down these days, we have larger problems.

Well done on the grill paint. Many that have done so, just paint the whole grill one color. They don't go through the extra expense that the two tone requires.

Is there a specific design reason you chose the MIC door handles over body color? Do you have a build journal link? I would be interested to follow what you had done.

Funny you mentioned the handles. I actually had those wrapped because I wasn’t 100% sure. I am waiting on my new 2 door to arrive and get customized to show them both together in a single thread.
