Just make sure after you change the tire size to force the TCM and PCM to relearn and do the reset of the DTC, then you should not have any error messages:

13. Now we have discrepancy between tire size values known by PCM and TCM and new value stored in BdyCM. So we have P160A DTC in TCM module and P0610 in PCM module:

14. In order to remove the discrepancy, we need to force PCM and TCM to “learn” the new value from the ECC. We can do it using Module Initialization/Relearn vehicle data functions for PCM and TCM module:

Note: some cars may have other modules that require this operation, for example AWD, SOBDMC.

15. After running the Relearn functions, we need to reset the DTCs:

Is there an actual 2021 Ford Bronco document or location to download what each of the addresses are for in the Modules? Ex:

726-63-02

0 = disables double honk when exiting running vehicle

I emailed forscan team 2 weeks ago and they said ( FORScan cannot unlock 2.7L Bronco PCM for writing. We work on it but so far we have no ETA ) so we are waiting

I started a thread on this earlier and haven't seen any responses. Maybe it will get more visibility here......


Hooked up Forscan to adjust tire size. Changing from the stock 255/70r16 to 285/75R16. New tire would equal 2619mm. When input that number and write it, the speedometer is even farther off. I ended up dialing back until I could get a matching speed on dash and GPS. I ended up at 2420 which is obviously nowhere near the actual tire size. At the 2420 speed and odometer are almost exact by GPS.

I'm not understanding how that is possible with the tire size I ended up on being so far off from the actual. Any thoughts from those more experienced? This is my first time working with the software.

Also as others have said, unable to relearn PCM, AWD relearn without issue.

I have been reading this thread intently and I finally got my Bronco last week. 4 door Outerbanks with standard rims. I quickly ditched the Duellers and put on some 265/70r18's. I then bought the vgate vlinker cable and got Forscan. I went into the Tire field and put in what I calculated to be the correct circumference in MM to my tires? (2646mm), but now I've for a DTC lamp on for the PCM that I can't clear. (P160A:00-2F) I don't have TCM module like in the original how to thread, and when I try to get the PCM to relearn, it says "Service Procedure interrupted". My question is 2 fold.
1) Did my tire size reading actually get changed, with this PCM error?
2) How do I clear this DTC?!

Anyone had the dealer pcm relearn take a long time? They took me back and showed me that progress was at 50% yesterday after running for three hours. Let it run overnight and this morning they are saying it’s still not done. They said randomly it sometimes takes a really long time. Curious how bad my luck is.

I’m taking mine to the dealer this coming week to have the PCM relearned. Curious how much they’re going to charge. Especially if it takes a long time. Any idea on cost?

I paid $149, which seemed pricy when I thought it was a five minute job but reasonable when they had it overnight, it somehow took like 16 hours. I had a 15% off offer from the dealer that knocked it down a bit. Got it back earlier today, everything is good now.

Tarikh, most 35s aren’t exactly 35.0” in diameter. For example, Sasquatch tires (LT315/70 R17) are 34.4” diameter, so the circumference for that tire would be 2741 mm. Not a big difference between 2741 and 2791, but it’s still smaller. So be sure to use your exact tire diameter, and not the nominal diameter marketed by the tire maker. Might as well be exact, if you can.

I just used a tape measure and google to convert 34" to mm. Oddly, I get better gas mileage with larger tires after changing in forscan than I did with BD stock tires. I wonder if Ford had the wrong number in there before. Understanding of course that the computer is figuring out the mileage not real world by me.

Use the PCM service function instead of the PCM relearn. The PCM relearn doesn't work.

UPDATE: on new Forscan versions (2.3.52+), " PCM Module initialization/relearn vehicle data" is reported to work.

Detail:
1- I used FORScanSetup2.3.47.test20220221 (version that supports MY2022 goat modes) with OBDLink EX. You will also need a FORScan demo license.

2- Set front/rear TPMS and tire size in BdyCM. For KM3 37x12.50R17D on sasquatch wheels, use 35psi and 2760mm. For sasquatch stock tires and wheels, use 39psi and 2653mm. Tire circumference cannot exceed 2800mm. DTC's will be set in 2-3 modules that will need to be fixed.

3 - To fix the non-PCM DTC's, run the AWD relearn. Don't run the PCM relearn (it doesn't work).

4 - Clear the DTC's. All should be cleared except PCM.
5 - Run the PCM reset-all-adaptations service function. This will fix the size mismatch and also clear the PCM DTC. It will relearn the engine/trans/fuel adaptations over time while driving. UPDATE: on new Forscan versions (2.3.52+), " PCM Module initialization/relearn vehicle data" is reported to work.

6 - Confirm all DTCs are cleared.

7 - Install a free speedometer app with tenth-mph readout on your phone and testdrive to confirm speed is within 0.5mph at 60mph cruise control. For new tires, the actual speed should be a little higher than speedo. For worn tires the actual speed will be a little less.
