Hey, all. Just got a 3/24/22 build date, and that means we're getting close to making the important decisions.

Like, how is everyone mounting their front plates? We're in MA, so we have to, and I think most of the NE states are similarly required. Any solutions that look cleaner than the intrusive stock mount?

Thanks, and be well!

There are a few, depending on which bumper you have, but I recommend going with HBTFD's. Quality work and I helped him develop the Capable Bumper one (that's my Bronco in the pics for the Capable Bumper). Super nice guy and takes pride in his work.

Whoa there, Chief..... We don't need anyone giving it 110% here.

Always encourage a new user to use the search function first. That allows them the time to yell at you for being a jerk so that other people do the digging for them.

Normally I would do that since 50% of all the threads didn't need to happen in the first place if the search function was used.

For some strange reason, the spirit moved me to help.

There is a difference between required and enforced as always. Down where I am in RI its required but not enforced. I went with this shackle mount:

https://www.quadratec.com/p/kentrol/shackle-mounted-license-plate-bracket

Fits great under the back seat. I only need it for inspection.
Maybe I'll go that route. HBTFD makes nice product but the way it hangs down isn't for me. I have a cheap bracket that pokes the plate up right now that I like the looks off but the car wash is hell on it and I don't think it will last much longer.

We're down here on Long Island and sell a lot of these to the surrounding states. We make these right here on Long Island actually out of aluminum and then we powder coat it. Built to last with a lifetime warranty and a fantastic finish.

We include stainless steel hardware for the license plate and it uses 2 existing bolts on your HD Modular Bumper

Use coupon code BRONCO6G and save 10% as well

I ordered the capable bumper bracket and we dropped it to our dealer, who said it would be no problem to use it instead of the stock bracket. No front plate in MA means no inspection sticker, so we got on it in advance. Since our rig arrived at the dealer TODAY maybe I can post a pic in a couple of days.

I didn't have a front bracket when I took ownership of my Bronco. The Bronco doesn't need to be inspected before it leaves the dealership lot.

I cable-tied my front license plate on the grille for inspection and took it off until I got the bracket from Walt.

This is true...they don't care how it's attached, it just needs to be attached!
