This reminds me of that movie where one of the characters repeatedly tries to start a slow clap, but it keeps falling flat. Then in a scene near the end, another character kicks off a perfect one and the first character is left looking disappointed at the missed opportunity.

I went skiing at Killington yesterday. There were no other Broncos on the 2 hour drive there. There were no other Broncos in the parking lot. There were no other Broncos at the apres-ski location. And there were no other Broncos on the way home. So for me, seeing a Bronco is only slightly more likely than seeing a real sasquatch. For the past year, I have not seen another Bronco outside a dealer's lot over 99.9999% of the time.

If I see one on the road, I'm going to wave - not only because we have a semi-rare vehicle in common, but because we also likely have a shared experience of dealing with so much frustration to acquire it. And that means we also share the determination to have done that driven by our recognition of the vehicle's value.

If I see one in a parking lot, I'm going to park near it, next to it if possible. Partly because I know they will be likely to respect mine and try to avoid a door-ding, and partly to again share that camaraderie.

I will not put little plastic horses on other people's vehicles. Well, maybe I could see putting a plastic Pumbaa on a Raptor if I ever saw one, in celebration of its ugliness. But that would be it.

these threads are always so amusing, the number of salty grumpy "don't you dare touch my stuff" people is just baffling. But hey, if being grumpy and overly protective over a truck floats your boat, have at it. But it's not a million dollar super car.
I've had people peek into my windows shading their eyes with their hands, I've had people take photos, I don't mind. Maybe some need a pit crew with a mobile garage when they park in public?Life's too short to spend it grumpy IMO


I for one would just smile and put the little horse on my dash, next to a duck or hot wheels or what ever else fun thing someone might put out as a fun greeting.

Feel the same way.

Speaking for the single dudes out there, I'd much rather come back to my Bronco and find phone number and the name to go with it waiting for me than a toy horsey but ... you know ... call me crazy.

I'm fine with people liking what I don't like. I'm just saying if your going to get caught messing with someone's property in a parking lot, be prepared for them to potentially be aggressively unwelcoming to it.

I’m with you. I was poking fun at the types that are criticizing us for not wanting to be a part of these shenanigans.
