I haven’t gotten anything on my email as of yet. Hope this leads to some sort of action for you/us.

Well I had some family over for dinner and right after I sat down I got a call from an unknown number in Detroit. As many of you know I sent an email to several Ford Execs this week so I took the call. Well…it was Ford calling me! The person I spoke explained she represents the Ford Executive team and had read and shared my email in a meeting today. She said the focus of the meeting was specifically in the lack of communication to people on ice mountain. I spoke to her for at least 15 minutes and she explained that it is a chip shortage that caused the backup. She said the problem they are facing is a lack of skilled personnel that can install chips in the Broncos on Ice Mountain as well as weather issues. They are working hard to clear the backlog and they are aiming to get all of them out in under 90 days. I thanked her profusely for calling me and asked that they please send some sort of update. She said they are working on putting together some sort of weekly email whether it is individually or collectively is TBD at this point. I couldn’t believe I actually received a call and hope this helps you all sleep a little better tonight.

Like everyone else I have a few suggestions for Ford on this topic:

1) When a line is shut down for a chip shortage (like the F150 line has been recently) - offer double time for the skilled resources and get them to Michigan to get our Broncos moving !
2) Ford needs to replace their Communications and Social Media teams if the Executive team was not fully aware of the lack of communication until the well placed emails were sent
3) Thanks to everyone on this forum for the support / laughs and for keeping after Ford until we all get our Broncos !

Yep, its the Aeroskin. Grabbed it from Ford when they had the 20% off coupon. It's actually made by Bushwhacker and uses 3m tape to stick on, I thought it would wrap around to underneath the hood. I went with the 5" stubby from here https://www.amazon.com/ICBEAMER-Racing-Aluminum-Antenna-Vehicle/dp/B07G9Q7VSH . Never really listen to the radio so not sure how reception is with it. Getting some tint and brow put on today.

It may take awhile to loom the entire number, but I'm sure you could do it.

Seriously though, I don't think any trackers I've seen work without a VIN.

I would help take the whole damn Ford Bronco team riding on the beach anywhere from St. Augustine down past Daytona (i live on Hammock Beach halfway in between) if they can get mine built and delivered!! I'm about to start stealing my daughter's which showed up last month and was built the week before this "production hell week"

I grew up in Daytona. Landlocked in Atlanta now. I can't wait to make a trip down and cruise A1A with the top down some day when I get my Bronco.
