I’m really hoping for someone to come up with a SAS compatible spare tire mount

You don’t have to mod the jeep mount others are talking about.
As far as using the jeep mount on the sas, a wheel spacer cures it. I did a 1.25” spacer but you could probably get away with a 1”.

I actually saw your post and got this exact mount which will be delivered today. Didn’t notice the wheel spacer comment. Do you think it’ll add extra stress on the tire mount under hard wheeling?

It could.. There are two lower bump stops on the bottom of the tailgate at the 5 and 7 o’clock positions that made contact with the spare when mounted. I no longer make contact there.
Everything is pretty beef and I’m not worried about it, if I see anything I don’t like, I’ll space the bump stops as well.

That looks clean and minimalist, just all you need... The spacer is a great idea!!!! Now we can wash behind the spare tire. I've been waiting for the bumper tire carrier to be finalized for production. Thx....

You should do that ASAP

Yeah, I'm wondering how much more torque is added to that mount by increase length by one inch. Probably more than one realizes.

I used a ditch light extension from Caliraised LED that was on my old 4Runner. also have the Bodyguard bumpers cowl mounts. Gonna mount the radio in the console and I got a magnetic mount like Trail recon used for a dash mount.

Does everyone do that with different offset wheels? Same/same.
the spare is solid AF.
Everyone? No, but they should. It's standard practice. Not everyone with a Bronco has had a tailgate mounted spare before.

Hoping to find an answer as I’ve searched quite a bit of similar threads with no luck finding a more “definitive”answer.

Thinking about using the JCROffroad ditch light mount, however I will not be mounting any lights, just the gmrs antenna. I know from their website they also mentioned that I may have to scrub off some of the powder coating to get a good ground.

I’m wondering if by itself on that mount if there will still be a lot of RFI or if that is even a safe place to mount. Any thoughts on this set up is great appreciated.

I have antenna mounted next to ditch lights. When lights off-all works great. When lights are on-no reception. So you should be good without lights.
Need to scratch off that paint just enough to have connectivity to the body.

I'm waiting for the Midland MXT 525 (I think?) to come out soon, 50W radio. Controls are in the microphone unit. I plan to mount the radio somewhere out of the way under the dash and when going on trails I'll plug the mike in and probably just have it where the wireless charger is or in one of the cupholders. Really not a good place to put a mount that won't look weird the rest of the year and I'm not leaving anything of value visible in the truck year round. Antenna I'm not sure yet, might just use the magnetic one they supply or get something to put on the passenger trail sight. Has to be removable for the rest of the year though.
I have the mxt275 (15 watt) mounted in my JL's glove box and the mic on a dash mount. With the fender mounted 6db antenna, I have no problem hitting (line of sight) repeaters from 35 - 40 miles. The orientation of the ground plane -ie: if the signal crosses the hood or not -doesn't seem to matter. The signal is strong from every angle. That 50 watt unit will reach a long way over clear ground....
