Is Mid Package a must for a daily driver?

Badlands is out of my budget so I have to downgrade to Black Diamond but manual is a must.

I can't get Mid Package AND Manual with Black Diamond so I have no choice but to go with the standard package.

I like the comfort creatures but I don't know if I should go ahead and order BD with the standard package.

Anyone here with the standard package daily their Bronco? Any regrets? Also, does CarPlay work with the standard package?

Im curious too. I dont have mine built yet but the only thing I wish I could have is the proximity unlock/lock for the doors. Other than that, I don't want all the sensors and cameras etc that may fail over time. My current daily is a 2006 Lincoln Navigator that has all the luxury comforts not working (not even the digital radio and navigation or built in dvd player) besides the accessible liftgate via remote.

I wasn't going to spend 40+ on a vehicle without heated seats or fob remote start.

I selected the standard package, but changed my mind to the mid one. Heated seats, dual zone ac is worth it. Don't really care about the other features. Just my thoughts.

I daily my big bend and do not have the mid package. The one thing I do wish that I had is the keyless entry. However my previous vehicle was a 2008 Ranger so I cannot complain and still absolutley love it

I contemplated this too when I was looking for a BaseSquatch. Ended up ordering a Big Bend because of this dilemma.

I live in a cold weather climate so MID was a must for the heated seats. I also like the proximity doors/locks. Dual zone climate control is also just a bare necessity IMO.

Go with the MID pkg.

My first Bronco order was a 4 door BD with mid, 2.3 auto. I've now ordered a 2 door BaseSquatch 2.7 auto. I will eventually have Katzkin heated seat covers installed, only because Bronco's don't fit in my garage. I live in the SF Bay Area so its never that cold but I do use them occasionally when I leave work.
Does anyone know why you can't get the Mid-package with the manual, and is this only on the BD?

Go with the MID pkg.

I was in the same position, on my build it would cost me an extra $7000 over the Base to get the Mid in the BB, and the only thing I wanted was heated seats, the rest I saw little or no value in.

I don't think it's a big deal. You can't use the remote start with a manual anyway. I forget to use the seat heaters most of the time. The one thing I was really excited for, the proximity locks, are buggy enough that I just use the fob most of the time.

If you don’t have heated seats now, don’t make this the moment you capitulate and skip getting a stick shift ICON.

For me, yeah. I mean, it's a $40K vehicle. Mid package gives you enough to make it feel like a $40K vehicle. Heated seats and remote start being the big things. I use them every day and I'd be sad to not have them.

You get wireless CarPlay and remote start even with base model. Base Sasquatch is the best bang for your buck imho

I have a base squatch and have been daily driving it for two months and 5200 miles. The standard package is all you need. Here are my observations:

-Carplay is awesome. It wirelessly connects everytime I start up.
-Google maps and Spotify are seamless.
-OnX iphone app is great for off-road maps.
-Remote start works great from the iPhone app.
-keyless entry works great from the iPhone app.
-Ability to remotely lock doors via iPhone is incredible. Do it often before locking up at night before bed. I don't have to go outside to make sure its locked.
-The vehicle is too small for dual zone climate control to make a difference.
-Backup camera works great and has the guide-lines that move as you turn even though Ford said that doesn’t come on standard package.
-I have hated blis in the rental cars I’ve used, I’m glad to not have it on my Bronco.
-Autodim headlights are nice but took some getting used to. (yes they are included in standard package)
-collision assist and automatic braking are included in the base package. Not sure I want it because I did have it activate in a heavy rain. I think the sensor was tricked by the heavy down pour.
-the 8" screen is plenty
-everyone complains about the audio quality even the upgraded B&O system. I don't find it too bad but will be upgrading the speakers soon.
