Ford has been building my Wildtrak for 10 days now. Must be really taking their time on this one. The methods are so secret they decided to remain radio silent to me.
Been building mine since 2/1, I feel ya man

LOL. I ask as we are the same blend day. I called Ford support yesterday and they told me I was a on chip hold. Just curious on other 1/26ers who are seeing no movement if that's also the case with them.
I called 800 number, and that's the case with me as well (also a 1/26 blend). I pressed them for more info, and my favorites response is, "we don't have any information, nobody does. You should contact your dealer". LOL. If Ford doesn't know anything (which is a lie) why would the dealer? Its more like, "please hassle them instead of me"

Yah, my discussion was similar with the service rep. I don't think those front line service workers have any more info to provide as they just look at the same system a dealer does. But someone behind the scenes at MAP DOES know what's going on.

All I am looking for is "Dear Customer, due to a chip shortage your Bronco will be delayed. We will process Bronco builds based on last out , first in as new chips arrive. We are expected 100,000 new modules in the next month which will allow us to process all backlogged Broncos."

Any communication from them with a shred of substance would help.

Someone mentioned that the 1/31s are moving to built / shipped but per their tracker that is NOT the case. They are seeing movement in terms of assembly line and mods popping but that is no different than our week. My estimation is they too will be parked on Ice Mountain less a few lucky souls while waiting on chips/modules.

I wish that were the case, but if its anything like the dirt mountain fiasco, they prioritize the line. They don't really have any where to park those coming off, so they ship em out.

Ok I guess we'll see. Did they start the 1/31 batch this week? If so then if the logic holds true where they will ship them out (and module shortages don't apply to them) then by Friday they ALL should have built notices in their tracker.

Didn't realize you were a fellow Illinoisian. Looks like our Broncos will be getting a little taste of the ice mountain thaw and then the heavy sleet like we are going to see today too. 3-6 inches of heavy wet snow and 1/10th inch of ice for Detroit/Wayne over the next few days. I don't have a garage yet so I guess its just giving my bronco a little reality check.

you're better off than me. when i put my vin in there, this is what it says:

"While your VIN is valid, it looks like your vehicle isn’t equipped with a compatible version of SYNC®. Please verify that your VIN was entered correctly and try again."
That is WEIRD. I just tried it on my end, and it seems to work. This is all so confusing...

Mine was in Nashville, but now it says status unknown. Is that mean it's traveling right now?
Mine has done that now and then, but it was still in the same location. Mine is still Nashville also, it has been there since Monday night. I guess it doing a bar tour or catching some shows.

I'm with you. I have bought 2 Expeditions as last 2 vehicles for my wife and now this Bronco. I'm going to take delivery of this as I don't want to have Ford/Dealer profit off my misery and sell higher to someone else. Plus I've endured so far, might as well see it to the end.

This will be the last Ford I buy. The decisions and actions by the company tell the story of the company. Can't blame pandemic as decision and actions can be made to adjust for that. Ford has made my list of never doing business with again
Going to be my first, and likely my last for the same reasons. While I appreciate that I have been given the tools for tracking my vehicle's progress (or lack thereof), those tools aren't worth much when they aren't being updated on their end. The number of people getting surprise deliveries is simply strange to me. It shouldn't be a complicated process to keep trackers and the like up to date (it should be mostly automated), but if it is complicated, Ford really needs to rethink where their money is being spent in the implementation and support department. I haven't received a single email from Ford since the one that told me my order was processed and what my build week would be.

I know it comes across as whining talking about this stuff day after day, but expecting customers to keep spending money in a shaky economy (extending leases, keeping existing vehicles running that we might not have otherwise had we known, passing up on other solutions to our vehicle needs, etc.), and completely disregarding the impact it has on our lives by keeping us completely in the dark is nothing short of unacceptable.
