I have used Dynamat and it works very well. I don't think the problem is with sound penetration. it is wind getting in between the panel edges in the middle section for me. Probably all sections.

The big issue with Dynamat or FatMat, its cheaper cousin, is it smells like Tar for months.

My plan is to see if beefing up the rubber weather stripping with some surgical tubing will help.
I just got to find the time to do it.
Cool....i'll be anticipating your results!

Train stalking update, it departed Conway, PA yesterday afternoon. That is only a little over 5 hours from my dealership! Just maybe it will be here before 3/2?!
Do know when you shipped from MAP?

I honestly don’t know since a shipped date never populated. My guess is maybe Saturday or Sunday. The rail yard they have for me is super close to the dealership, and it seems, based on my United stalking, they pick up pretty much every two days.

Make sure you keep posting you updates here! I'm curious about the flaps since it seems like there's no good solution for squatch...

Alvin I have some door sill in the works that I think will knock peoples socks off. Waterproof, slip resistant and customizable. Just got to get with a buddy of mine to do it....if only I didn't have a day job!

These are what I am holding out for. I was going to order from stickerfab but I knew you were working in something.

Ok, I think I finally figured the tail tracking out🤣. I was just being lazy and needed to actually follow the directions. Very cool to see that you can track your shipment. Thank you for sharing this information. My Bronco is currently in Tennessee, slowly making its way to Tampa!!!!

Thanks, I've been down 3 or 4 different avenues over the last couple of weeks. Yea I could do a decal but I wanted to offer something that I would use on my own Bronco. I think I found it yesterday when I visited a buddy who does some custom work on other stuff. It just kind of clicked and I said why not. I showed the wife and she liked it. I hope to have a set done this week or early next week, then I can show it off. I am actually excited about the idea!

good to know! Since mine wasn't taken off at Conway (TWICE!) I haven't gotten any info about reshipping and was trying to see if we may be on the same rail - but it seems unlikely.

It sounds like you'll get it sooner to me too though!

Me too. I'm big on "sound"....been reading that "do-it-yourself" sound deadening thread where the guy used the dynamat......i wanna do it, but have never worked with it at all, kinda scared to screw up my top.
I thought felt was the best sound deadening material? Lighter, comes in different colors, doesnt stink. And, you can still stick patches to it!
