Add me to that.

Mine made it to the dealer but I'm hearing it may need to go back to MAP for the pax airbag replacement. WTF. Haven't even seen it yet and they won't sell it until it's fixed.

Still no ETA and the part is backordered. The only estimate I've heard is "maybe 2 months".

After 16 months, I'm a week or 2 away from walking away from Ford forever. What a rotten company to deal with when something goes wrong. They run you round in circles until you give up and nobody there gives a damn.
I think there's an airbag thread laying around somewhere with people that ended up in the same situation. So ridiculous.

So many Dirt Mountain Broncos were held for airbag issues/recall. Dealers were able changed/retrofitted those.

Why does yours need to go all the way back to the production line? Is it more than the airbag and/or the airbag control module?

I would be fuming, too.

Thanks Sean.
On several occasions i almost considered changing colors, but stuck to my initial attraction. No regrets.
I can’t wait until warmer weather to go top less.
If my WT is delivered on Saturday, at least the front tops are coming off, if I can get enough energy together.

So, I’m not in the depths of purgatory… but in the 5th or 6th level… updated from in production 01/06 to built 02/09… with EDD of 02/22 then not another peep. Cautiously not so optimisticly standing by

Ok, gonna see if folks on this thread can give a better answer. There was a thread going on it, but it kind of disintegrated and never seemed to give a straight answer.

Apparently there's different buttons on the center GOAT dial....depending on if your Bronco has trail control AND one pedal drive......

Here's a pic of the two (and perhaps there's a 3rd if you have a manual?).

My UNDERSTANDING is the 2.7 has BOTH features, while the 2.3 auto ONLY has trail control. Is this correct?

What doesn't seem to make sense to me is the 2.7 button has ONE icon with BOTH functions, but the 2.3 auto has TWO icons on the button but ONE function? Seems like whichever bronco had both functions would have a center button with two icons. Right?

Or, am i getting it wrong and the 2.7 ONLY has the one-pedal function?
You really need to read the manual and then just go try it out. On our BL you push the button which activates one pedal, this allows you to use one foot on the gas to drive/ stop.

If you then set a speed using the buttons on the steering wheel (while in one pedal mode) it goes into trail control mode, i.e., it maintains your set speed (low speed cruise control).

Yep, I tried it out on my 2.7….my confusion is more about the different icons on the physical buttons. Why the Bronco with both functions has one icon and the 2.3 with one function has 2 icons.

Great write up. I did the Austin Off Roadeo last year when it was a 2 day event. It sounds like the same basic course though. I 100% agree this is a must do if you get the chance. I'd go again and will if they open it up for repeat visits. I'd love to do New Hampshire.

One thing you didn't mention was the staff driven fast lap on the "Funhaver" course. Did you not get to do that?
We ended the day on a short track, about 2 miles. It was self driven. They called it steering and handling. It was the most fun part for me personally as I drive those courses a lot and really wanted to see how the Bronco would handle it and for it not to be my own Bronco. Mission Accomplished. I was very pleased with the results.

Train stalking update, it departed Conway, PA yesterday afternoon. That is only a little over 5 hours from my dealership! Just maybe it will be here before 3/2?!

Me too. I'm big on "sound"....been reading that "do-it-yourself" sound deadening thread where the guy used the dynamat......i wanna do it, but have never worked with it at all, kinda scared to screw up my top.
I have used Dynamat and it works very well. I don't think the problem is with sound penetration. it is wind getting in between the panel edges in the middle section for me. Probably all sections.

The big issue with Dynamat or FatMat, its cheaper cousin, is it smells like Tar for months.

My plan is to see if beefing up the rubber weather stripping with some surgical tubing will help.
I just got to find the time to do it.
