Meagan,
IF indeed the root of the issue is an axle solenoid that is good. From what I "think" this is, that the under normal driving the back wheels are engaged but the front "axles" the pipe that connects the wheels to the transmission via a transfer case, still spins but is not engaged or connected to wheel itself via a gear that sucks up into the axle. The solenoid is a little holder that keeps it away from the gear and when needed it will release to engage the axle to spin the tires in front, thus giving you 4 wheel drive.
That makes sense but is this good in the sense it's an easy fix, or not a major issue? At this point if it's a mechanical issue, I don't understand why it took 2 weeks to figure it out.... Pretty frustrated with Ford overall right now.

It’s good if it is this simple. Not a major failure or computer related. It’s a simple non monitored part so it will not give a failure code but it will cause a more generic failure like hey 4 wheel drive isn’t working and could cause a terrible grinding noise depending on what is happening.

So these are the designs I have come up with so far, don't really want to offer many due to just keeping up with them. What do you all think? The back door ones would either be blank or have the horse in them. I'm trying to keep it simple to keep the cost down, less work I have to do the cheaper they are if you know what I mean.

Script Bronco FTW. Are you in cahoots with Ford for licensing?

I like the retro script one, but might also like ones like you plan for rear doors. (Mine is (er...will be...) 2-dr) Just the horse. If you plan to offer these to other than First-Batchers (we sound like Flat Earthers), you probably don't want the top one. Thanks for your industry and creativity!

PSA: Soft top windows scratch even if you follow the written instructions. Used a wet microfiber towel + some dawn dish soap to clean off a bunch of gunk today. Noticed after it dried that they are now scratched to hell. I knew it would be an issue so I’m not surprised but also didn’t expect it to be this bad. Not a big deal for me, but just sharing my experience.

I will also be placing a sticker on it, so
my window is doomed anyways.

I asked about getting them printed, and you are looking at $40 bucks for the front and $30.00 bucks for the rears, and that's my cost. Another popular place people are buying them from is using either 3M or Oracle. I have used Oracle for many years on outdoor stuff, it holds up well.
Oooof. Expensive. You can't make money that way.

Oracal is great for window signs and such. When I bought a vinyl cutter from US Cutter, they gave me a bunch of Greenstar so I tried it. It's around 30% less $ and I have some signs now going on 10 years old in Florida (hour or so of straight sun per day). I have to say they still look pretty damn good. Greenstar isn't bad at all.

I just don't think I'd use either on a curved surface but these are pretty small and pretty easy to replace after a year or so. I'm probably just being a wrap snob.

No I was hoping they would be cheaper, but I wouldn't even pay 40 bucks for them. I like Oracle, it is very durable.

These won't scratch the windows as long as you are reasonably gentle and you never run them through a dryer. Washing is okay but the dryer will melt the fibers a bit and make them scratchy.

I use them on gloss black interior trim and they don't ever leave the slightest mark.

Use it with Invisible Glass for all windows inside and out. There will be no streaks at all.

Use it with CarPro InnerQD for all interior included touch screens but not leather or soft fabrics. There will be no lint or dust and that InnerQD smells incredible. So fresh and clean

One more question. My window sticker says, “ramp one- and has a code of RF35”. Does that mean anything? Thanks again!
