That is prolly the empty car going in reverse. Maybe your new toy is in the rail lot.
That makes more sense. Pretty good time for it to be back in Chicago already.

Welll...

My EDD finally bumped from 2/6 to 3/8.

I am the last in the Purgatory Party to get this delivery delay. TBH, I am a bit relieved...at least someone is paying attn to it.

Since I live in WA, I am inclined to think my truck will be completely built within the next week or so, then on rails for 20-25 days.
I still have not been changed/updated.....mine still says production 1/6 with a 2/9 delivery which was changed from the original 1/20 date on 1/25..... PURGATORY

Are you sure its just not the empty train heading backwards?
My dealer is looking into it but it was released to a flat bed this morning and then registered on another train.
if it was on a truck it I’d think would be to the dealer by now.
my husband called CS and Alyssa said it’s still at MAP

If I have a hat on hand when I get home tonight, i think I am going to laser this design and put it on a hat. What do you all think? I've got another Idea as well, I'll cut it out tonight as well and show it to all and see what you think.

I am going to reinstall the side steps back over them. I know one spot needs to be screwed through or something with the steps, but yeah I need those for my kiddos.
I like that idea, i saw where someone else had done that. I am also considering a different tube step so my wife will be able to get in easier. Not sure how tall you are, but wondered if you had considered some type of step or retractable step design. 😁

That place looks shady to me, might be a good idea to mount one of these.

Black and white goes with everything! I'd like to see one colored stripe like the Thin Blue Line (police appreciation) flags have. What would our color be? Maybe a stripe with all the Bronco colors in horizontal segments!

This will be done on leather, it will have no color. Like the ones in my picture.

Is ford doing any kind of customer satisfaction credit for this? I was 7/15/20 reservation that got jacked up and changed to 7/16/20 reservation when I switched dealers then got kicked down the road a couple times and finally assigned a 1/3 build week, my blend date was 1/4 and estimated delivery was today. I stopped by the dealer today thinking it might be there and they say it's built sitting at the factory with a delivery date now of 3/6 which also changed to 3/6 on the pizza tracker this morning. I've never received a built email from ford and the tracker is still showing "in production". I called the marketing line this morning and that's a **** show in itself because they can't see anything other than it's in production and that it's new scheduled delivery is march 6th.

Congratulations! It’s crazy how much bigger they are in person than photos, isnt it?!

I Vote Wes the best dressing Bronco picker upper!!!

Congrats brother… looks awesome!!!
You know I was so excited I couldn’t think straight yesterday and we Ended up sort of rushing to get out of there once everything was signed, because I had to get my daughter from school - but I never did get my picking up the Bronco photo taken!!

welp... I suppose I'm not getting my car this weekend. It was 30 min from me but they put it onto another train and now its 3.5 hours away heading towards Philly. Why would they do that?!
That is super weird. You are sure it’s not just the empty train? Hope that’s the case and it’s just a misunderstanding.

OK. I am now going to tell you all a story that only this board can appreciate, and it is something that can only happen to me.

As some of you know, I am an attorney. I have a general practice which means I do some traffic tickets a few accidents stuff like that.

Of course, I waited until the last minute to add the insurance on my new bronco.

When I called Geico to add the bronco I got my quote and then he said “let me just run the reports and I’ll get right back to you”.

The guy comes back on the phone and he says “Wes, I have some bad news this is showing me that your drivers license has been suspended as of two days ago.”

Ummm….WTF….

Then it hit me. I had this old expired registration ticket from the county next-door on my old FJ cruiser, which many of you know, has a blown engine.

Apparently, my dumb ass missed my own court date.

Geico tell me there is nothing they can do until my suspension is cleared.

Being that it’s Friday l, here in North Carolina there is not much court going on; but faster than you can even blink, I throw my suit on and drive that rented 2020 mustang like a bat out of hell to the county courthouse with an order clearing my failure to appear.

Now, finding a judge in North Carolina on a Friday to sign an order is rather like ordering a Ford bronco and expecting it to be built within a reasonable amount of time: it ain’t gonna happen.

But, somehow, someway, the bronco gods were smiling on me because when I walked into the courthouse the judge was standing there in the hallway!

He signed the order striking my failure to appear in the Clerk sent the information to the DMV!

Disaster avoided! I should’ve had a better lawyer ha ha.
Omg! You lucked out!

If I have a hat on hand when I get home tonight, i think I am going to laser this design and put it on a hat. What do you all think? I've got another Idea as well, I'll cut it out tonight as well and show it to all and see what you think.

Just make the white line thicker that goes around the outside. The way you see the black flag stripe on top, where it’s really thin is hurting my designer OCD, lol. I would either make the white line thicker or bump the design up so it is sitting evenly between the flag’s white stripes on top and bottom, if that makes sense.

I like that idea, i saw where someone else had done that. I am also considering a different tube step so my wife will be able to get in easier. Not sure how tall you are, but wondered if you had considered some type of step or retractable step design. 😁
I am short, 5’4” I use the steps sometimes and sometimes I don’t. I needed them more for my mini-humans getting in/out.. I personally don’t like the design of the retractable styles I’ve seen. I also kind of like the fact that the side steps sticking out might help with some door dings.

Its Oxford White. The first picture makes you think its Cactus Gray because it was taken from inside the car with the windows up. =)
Hahaha, yes correct! The one on the truck makes it look a different color
