@Cat, my original EDD was 2/17, but the train arrived in Orlando earlier this week. Now the tracker is showing my EDD as 2/7. Not looking to gloat (much) here, but if the spreadsheet is still locked, I can't update it. Thanks!

Did that turn out to be legit?
So, I’m gonna go with it, as a lawyer I def dug into the details.

It’s a full bumper to bumper 7 yr 100k and it covers a lot of stuff that Ford could potentially deny coverage on (like if you added a lift kit and ford pushed back on that), it seems like a great deal, bc I WAS gonna do the flood esp plan.

I can cancel anytime so I’m gonna double and triple check the coverage but I added it for now.

I’m usually a “hell no” type of guy on extended warranties but I’ll give this a shot. I do love the $50 to replace a windshield if it chips or breaks, which these are apparently more prone to do bc the design.

Anyone else on west coast having trouble tracking via CSX?

First off, they're system has a hard time getting the rail letters correct. I suggest using the keypad to enter the letters. It's still a little wonky, but at least accurate. My rail letters are BNSF so I entered 22(B) 62 (N) 74 (B) 33 (F). First number correlates to the letter, second number is the position. Look at your keypad and it'll make sense.

Second, I'm in San Diego. On Monday, the CSX system said my rail car had been delivered to customer location in San Diego (where I live). It's about two weeks early. I got excited and reached out to the dealership, but they said they don't have it yet. Wednesday, I checked CSX again and the system said it was in National City (small town adjacent to San Diego) so I figured it's just moving between yards no big deal. I checked again today (Friday) and now it's in Chicago. The CSX tracking system is pretty screwed up and not accurate from what I've experienced.
That is prolly the empty car going in reverse. Maybe your new toy is in the rail lot.

It shouldn't be that long on the rails! Mine was on the train 9 days. If you look at these maps, the UP lines diverge at a point that suggests it's almost equidistant to the SF Bay Area and Puget Sound area. Possibly shorter if it transfers to BNSF.

Is there a route that runs along the northern US to Seattle?

Oh, thank you. @Aman!!

I got the ARB Twin compressor for the engine mount.

Will get the kinetic rope, but prolly a tow strap too, jic.

I saw the RC hidden winch...to bad they dont work on 2.7. Not gonna relocate/block stuff. Hitch adaptor for winch sounds cool.

Great rec on MaxTrax and The Sargent. Will check them.

Small shovel, gloves, snatch block, tree saver and soft shackles will go in my kit, too.

Altho...I am blinging with GA Ubers!

Thanks, Aman...I had a feeling you would have great advice.

There is a cool thread on the forum...4x4 Class 101... I have been reading.

As an off-roading newbie, I've been following your questions here and taking notes on the answers. Thanks for asking things before I think to! 😂
